“great food great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

This air conditioned restaurant in the heart of Karol Bagh, a few minutes walk from the metro has good food, good service and the dishes are not heavily salted unlike many Indian restaurants making it more suitable for western tastes. Although listed as Chinese it is in fact Indian and Thai as well. The fish tikka was excellent as a starter for two people. Prices are reasonable - chicken tikka and mutton rogan josh as mains are both 200Rp Kingfisher beer 120Rp. We can recommend this restaurant.

“Great Food, Fantastic Value!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2012

We visited this restaurant twice on our recent Intrepid trip to India, once as recommended by our tour leader ( the brilliant Karni Singh Chawra ) and then as our choice for our end of trip meal.
There is a very good range of both vegetarian and non-veg food and it's all excellent; well prepared from fresh ingredients and expertly cooked. As another reviewer said - try the biryani!
It's incedibly good value as well as being top quality. We paid 300-500 rupees each for a meal with dessert and drinks! At the time of we were there ( early April 2012 ) a 650ml bottle of Kingfisher was 99 rupees, mmmm nice!

Went to this restaurant while staying in Karol Bagh, New Delhi. This restaurant was close to our hotel, so walked there. Service was very good; food was excellent and the place was very clean.
Recommended.

“Safe Food for Tourists!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2012

Our principle food concern while in India was finding safe places to eat. We ate 5 times at Spicy by Nature and were very pleased. The naan is especially a treat (always warm)! The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. A lot of tourists come in here; it is quite fun to strike up conversations and compare notes. Note: lunch menu is a limited version of the dinner menu - dinner kicks in around 6.

“We came back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012

Honestly, this place looks touristy and a bit run down but give it a go. We ate here a couple of times and the Punjabi food is awesome and well priced. Recommendation is the mutton rogan josh, Indian spices not western. The owner was lovely as well. Beer is cheap.
