“Great food for large groups”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

We went here for a group function, the ambience & decor were lots of fun, the stairs steep, making it harder for some oldeer members of our group and we did have the company of a little brown mouse.
But the DJ was excellent as was the food, which was plentiful, a good ( late) night had by all

“good food good service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012

Extremely good food, went there a couple of times during my one month trip to Delhi. With a big group we ordered several dishes and they were all, without exception, delicious - veggie dishes, fish dishes, meat dishes. Wear clothes with a forgiving waistline :-) Friendly service too.

“Good food but bad service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

We had heard a lot about it and finally got a chance to visit the place. The ambience and decor is good but the way things run is a little doubtful.Since its winters here, they had their heating system running when we entered. It was too hot for comfort.Eventually it was turned down and after 45-50mins we were shivering with cold. Not too good.
We ordered our shorbas and tandoori platter initially. The Tamatar ka shorba was too spicy for us and the platter arrived 5-7 mins after we had finished our shorbas. In short, the sequence of service was bad but the main course food was good. I will NOT go there again.

“Authentic Mughal food with nice ambience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2011

We went to this restaurant for dinner a few days back after being directed to the Defense Colony market by the B&B we were staying in. The murgh lajawab was so well cooked that it almost melted on imbibing it. The bhuta capsicum masala was very tasty. We did notice that the dishes were relatively huge though my partners appetite may be to blame. The subdued lighting made for a romantic atmosphere and the service was excellent without being too intrusive. This restaurant is well worth a visit and quite decently priced too.
