This hotel is the pits! Noisey,in a poor area of Delhi, hot water didn't work, rooms unclean, curtains hanging off the rails, dirty grey sheets, bed covers ripped. We asked to change rooms and it took four attempts to get clean sheets and even then they were not acceptable.Avoid this hotel !!!

Room Tip: Avoid it !!!

Hotel was 3 star for the area. Breakfast was included which was nice. Mineral water is included with room each day. Staff was wonderful. Restaurant was excellent ate every meal there. Entertainment nightly was wonderful. Beer was always cold (Kingfisher) and chicken dish drums of heaven was excellent. Good value for price. Would recommend to anyone needing clean room, internet and location near Metro.

West Patel Nagar must be one of the noisiest and most noisome parts of Delhi but the Shanti Palace is clean, has fast, free wifi, a great little restaurant with live Indian music in the evening, and is directly opposite a Metro station. The usual Indian vagaries of strange electrical wiring and erratic but cheap laundry service, apply, and there were occasional mosquitoes, but overall, it was a pleasant surprise and good value for money. The front desk arranged a car to airport for 500 rupees, It needs double glazing to reduce sound levels from the incredible constant cacophony of horns, bands, dogs, fireworks, etc, but if you are a heavy sleeper like me, these all just fade into the background as theme music...

Room Tip: On other side from metro station might be less noisy.

I alongwith my colleague had a business visit in patel nagar and we choose this hotel to stay near to the work place. The hotel is located in a congested market street and no space in front. The staff is ok. Cleanliness is not very good and room freshner is required. Towels are not that clean.
I had the geyser working in my room but my colleague struggled to get hot water in his room. Also if you call out for taxi, take care that the place is very tight for parking.
Food at restaurant is good.

It is a good hotel and main point is its connectivity to Metro at Shadipur metro station, it is 1 minute walk away from the Hotel.food was good but cleanliness was not up to mark in the corridor.location wise it some congested and more residential house are around to this hotel. At first site it looks like a house only, but from inside its comfortable and provide you the needful facility.
