We stayed here for four nights, and we don't have any real complaints about this hotel. We found the staff to be very accommodating and available to help at all hours of the day and night. Although the windows allow street noise to come in that wasn't a real factor, because the street the hotel is located on quiets down a lot (especially by Indian standards) during the heart of the night. One other year we stayed at another hotel in New Delhi which was outfitted with double insulated windows and found it to be noisier than the Hotel Aster Inn. The room service was good, and many of the dishes in the restaurant were very tasty, although the breakfast might benefit from just a bit more variety to suit western tastes. You can walk to the Karol Bagh shopping area or the Metro --they are not very far away. This hotel and its staff live up to the other positive reviews you've read, and we recommend it to you. Be prepared to pay your bill with cash.
