This place is top notch- it is very different from all other Amans (it is a city hotel). It will not be part of Aman any longer after Feb 1st! The staff was world class. You will want for nothing.

The spa is great, the restaurant is, too. My only complaint is that it is so stark and the lighting is totally fluorescent. It just kills the atmosphere. It is so modern, you really do not feel like you are in India.if it is your first visit to this country, I recommend staying at The Imperial!!! It is a CLASSIC!!!!!!

Probably one of the most unexpected hotel experiences I've ever had. Ultra modern large facade, very spacious public areas (art gallery proportions). Immaculately decorated rooms each house a private plunge pool. Butler service is great but on average a little slow. Now that the construction has been completed, the larger lobby area and new restaurant (On the Waterfront) is gorgeous. Love the yellow, black and white decor. Do opt for the rooms overlooking the golf course area. Well worth a stay.

AMAN was our 'residence' between two Taj Palaces - Falaknuma, Hyderabad and Lake Palace, Udaipur. It is really tough to rate as all three pampered us so much, that we will have a tough time selecting hotels in other cities.

AMAN offered everything it says it is - privacy, intimacy, a huge place almost to ourselves - spa, pool, wet areas, restaurant, and our own plunge pool at the 5th floor overlooking Delhi - only in Alice in Wonderland. Exceptional service and we had no issue whatsoever, letting the staff post charges to the room. No errors.

Why are AMAN rates high? It is 7-stars.

Room Tip: All rooms should be excellent. We preferred to be on a higher floor

The Aman Hotel has a very serene ambience and gives the visitor a feeling of relaxation and peace as you enter the building. Went there for lunch and was very impressed with the excellent service from the staff that were not only polite but do know the menu very well. We were unsure of what to order for two pax and the waiter on duty was helpful and help us with very good choices of Indian cuisine as well as help us not to over order for two people. The food quality and taste was very good. A very pleasant dining experience at the Aman Hotel.

This year I had to visit Delhi a couple of times, and I visited Aman because a friend of mine who stays in Delhi recommended it because he had seen it in a magazine and liked the fact that the rooms come with an attached plunge pool.I visited it in September, twice in October and then again on 6th December 2012.
I really liked their staff and their helpful nature, in fact I trusted them so much that I have been stupid enough to pay whatever charges they had levied on my bill. But this time due to some reason I checked my invoice properly and was surprised to see there had been a fictitious amount which exceeded the real amount for more than 20,000 INR ! Coincidentally I gave fantastic reviews to this hotel only before my trip ! But I HAD to take back what I wrote.
I am really shocked and have decided never to set foot in this hotel.

In short :

Dishonest staff.
Grossly Inflated Bills.
Below Average Food.

Go if you don't mind all of the above.

Room Tip: All the rooms are more or less the same type. The difference between Aman and Aman Deluxe Room is jus...

I was at aman from 25 february to 3rd March, and I find that the hotel has an incredible spa and everything taken care of and aseptic style armani to say, a hotel to try to pair yourself why it feels a bit just saw the fewest number rooms and clienti.il only negative point of the hotel and in 5 nights I could not sleep relaxed because of the very cold, in fact I complained continuously with the buttler but not found a remedy and saw that they only air conditioning cold and do not have the warm for the winter in February. fact for $ 600 per night paid ....... and do not sleep ..... and just call it cold hotel.
