I had a pleasant stay at Charlotte's, which was my first stop and first homestay in India. It's an upscale home and the bedroom I stayed in (next to the kitchen) was large and comfortable, with amenities that you don't always get in Indian accommodations (e.g. desktop computer, shower stall, hair dryer, shower products.)

The room rate was much higher than what I paid for other homestays in India, but you pay for what you get. Charlotte takes her homestay business very seriously, and she's concerned about making sure you have a good stay. Highly recommend it to other travelers, especially if you're new to India.
