“Home from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

A great guest house - especially if you want to experience some traditional Indian hospitality. The rooms are big and well decorated. Very friendly family who will do all they can to help you. It might be far from the city centre but it makes for a more relaxing stay.

Positives:
Quiet area in South Delhi, nice architecture, rooms are spacious and clean, Indian decoration is nice.

Negatives: really far from city center, no restaurants or shops nearby, the person in charge runs a tourist agency and triple the prices of any activities in Delhi. They charged 7000 Roupies to go to Agra by car when we paid 4000 roupies with another hotel. They charge 1000 roupies for pick up at the airport when a prepaid taxi with AC is 400 roupies. The employee (not the owner) doesn't speak English at all.

We stayed at Ks Palace three nights at the beginning of our trip in India: it's been the best way to start this journey I suppose! It's a very big house - not very central, but that's a good thing for me - in south Delhi, in a very particular neighborhood called Sainik farm.
Family's owners stay at the top floor, they rent four big rooms with bathrooms at the ground: ours was big and clean. You can also eat there, meals are good and healthy.
But best of all was the guy who manages this place for the family, Ajiaz (sorry for wrong spelling): he's been helpful and friendly, so good that sometimes we was wondering if this experience at Ks' would be the same without him!

I would n't call it a stay ... it was more of a beautiful personal experience.
I was on my way back from Agra...My mother was quite unwell...The family was concerned and took good care.
The place is extremely suitable as a getaway for relaxation. The rooms are spacious...possibly need a little airing frequently as they are located in the basement of the building.
I was apprehensive earlier but my interaction with Mrs Imtiaz and Mr. Ijaz put me to ease ...My daughter enjoyed the most and was practically in their home all the time....
We had a good time!

I was here on my way to Jaipur and we spent a day in Delhi . So we booked this hotel on the reference of trip adviser. the way the staff helped us in everything from guiding us to different places and arranging transport for us was wonderful. The room was clean and nice and the food was brilliant. In addition to their check in service, was quick and nice too. The rooms are priced brilliantly. highly recomended.
