“Not a bad place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2010

We arrived very late at night due to the late arrival of our flight. However, our contact person had been waiting for nearly three hours but was still cheerful. The hotel itself is good, about a five minute drive or so from the International Airport and a little longer to the Domestic. Overall the place is clean, good bed with a soft duvet. Bathroom okay, towels a little on the worn side, but I have had worse. Breakfast okay, nothing to write home about. If you are looking for an overnight hotel near the airport this place serves all requirements.

Compared to the other hotels in the area I think this is quite a good place to stay - nothing to complain about the cleanliness, which is very often a problem in Delhi hotels. Still some things were lacking: there was no hair dryer or safety box (althoug they were mentioned in their brochure) and no window in my room. And I think when you pay this much, you should get complimentary drinking water, but nope. Some noise was also disturbing my good night's sleep - not traffic noise, but from inside. The doorlocks (keycard system) peep very annoyingly.
In their webpage there is mentioned that there is also a health club in the hotel. No one said nothing about it and there was no mention about it in the brochure, so I really don't think there is any gym in the hotel.
Summarized: I would say this is quite an overpriced hotel, but a safe choice if you just want to be sure that the hotel is clean.

This hotel is extremely well appointed (hotel and hotel room quality: extremely clean with tasteful, modern decor) and excellent service.. We stayed at this hotel because our flight back home was in the early hours of the morning and this hotel was perfect. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel - even if I was staying in Delhi for several days. It is easy to commute downtown via taxi. The cost-savings would be worth it.

I stayed in Hotel Saptagiti twice. The hotel is located close to Delhi Airports and that makes it very convinient. The hotel looks ordinary from outside with nothing special. Inside however, the rooms are clean with LCD TV, Mini Fridge and clean bathrooms. Another remarkeble aspect of the hotel is good room service menu with very good Indian and Chinese food available for food lovers.

The service was good and the staff were very attentikve to requests. Only thing I asked them to improve was the plumbing in the bathroom to stop water leakage from the shower area to rest of the bathroom.

To get best deal it is receommended to scan through deals on web expedia/other similar sites or call hotel directly and ask for good rate.

The main reason for choosing this hotel was because we need a one nights stay before our flight back to Frankfurt and plus its only 10 mins away from IGI. Having travelled down from the Punjab in a car (8 hours) an knowing that along this stretch there are some sad and run down hotels , my expectations were not that high. Although saying that having booked the previous day thru hotels.com I did go through their website which seemed ok.
We arrived-4 adults and my 1.5yr old, tired naturally, at about 10.30pm and were greeted outside the hotel where one of the porters handled our luggage whilst I went to check in.
We then were escorted to our room which when the door opened we were pleasantly suprised. The room was spacious new mod cons lcd tv on the wall seating area and above all was CLEAN and smelt fresh. We had hot and cold running water along with clean towels and they had even put an extra bed in the room for us. Also had complimentary mineral water with tea and coffee to our disposal. The bed sheets were super clean and comfy aswell as a decent matress. There was also a mini bar and ample closet space.
I ordered room service about 11pm and this arrived promptly. We ordered dal fry and tandoori chicken with a few nan breads and I must admit (punjabi taste) the food was splendid indeed.
Service was good and they really made us feel welcome and even gave us more towels to use.
I also used the free internet located on the 1st floor.
The only problem we encountered was the slight noise from outside the corridoors where some guests were talking loudly but when this passed it was quiet again.
Next morning the breakfast was ok but limited to omlete, bread, cornflakes, poori sambar and potato curry.
Tea,coffee and cold drinks were also available.

All in all having a break here before our flight this hotel exceeded our expectations, ok so its not a 4-5 star but considering its age location service and amenities it certainly deserves its 3 stars.

I would definately stay here again and I can honestly say the pictures on the website are real!

As hotel Saptagiri is located very near to IGI Airport Delhi, is a good hotel for a night stay. Rooms are decent, large in size with all modern amenities. Bathroom was hygienic. Air Conditioning was perfect. Staff was polite and understanding. Airport Pick-up and drop facility is available with good cars. Overall it was a good night stay.

This hotel is one of many along NH8 not far from the airport. It is actually set a little back from NH8 down an unsurfaced road, but this means it avoids the worst of the highway noise. Most of these hotels appear to be of pretty unacceptable quality, so expectations were not high even though the prices were (for India).

The hotel is clean with decent bathrooms and hot water, but with otherwise basic facilities. For instance, the promised tea and coffee maker is non existent and the workdesk in our room was falling apart. Beds are comfortable.

The big downside for our stay was that the night staff in the corridors outside were horribly noisy throughout the night, not what is expected or wanted after a very late flight arrival. What's more, one even tried to enter the room while we slept (despite the door being locked) - stopped only by one of us jumping out of bed. Sleep was further interrupted by a phoe call from reception to the wrong room number at 6 am.

You may be able to do better - but it was not as bad as some reviews paint nearby hotels.
