If you are looking for an increadibly unique experience and the possibility of some of the greatest surf in the Caribean, then Red Frog should be a must on your list. The accomondations are super cool hand crafted bungalows from Bali totally off the grid solar powered with peacefull outdoor showers and plenty of room for post surf session hanging out. The garderns are literally out of this world, and clearly lovingly maintaned. The Real shining stars of Red Frog are Scott and his great crew of guides and staff. The cook BoBo does a great job of keeping everyone well fed and Matt and TO not only will put you on the best waves but are just great guys and fun to surf with. I would highly recomend spending a week or two at Red Frog. The combination of the incredible island of Bocas Del Toro, the jungle, the Caribean and the great staff at Red Frog will make it hard to leave and will having you scanning airfares trying to get back. Scott and his team at Red Frog make this place such a pleasure to visit, and we were lucky enough to meet a lot of other lovely travelers staying there as well. Every aspect of service was top notch and the food was wonderful. The combination made for great morning surf trips and a few fun nights in town. The location is a picturesque Panama jungle setting steps away from a beautiful beach. Although it is a boat ride away from town, the beauty of the Island and setting is worth it. I would suggest it's the nicest location to stay in the area, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to visit if you want. We stayed in one of the two Bungalows and were very comfortable, appreciating the eco-friendly set-up and warm, out door shower. Bottom line - Scott and his team will do everything they can to make it a great experience for you.

WTF???? Cross the Surf Vacation at Red Frog off my bucket list! This is a must for any one looking for killers waves and truly unique surf trip. Scott and crew provided a super fun stay, and some how summoned the surf gods cause we had epic swell! Warning though, watch out for the killer puppy Tequila ..... he's more dangerous than the jungle it self! And get ready for the Surf Comedy tour..... Smiles for miles folks...... Red Frog Delivers!!

Just got home from another awesome surf vacation to Bocas Del Toro and once again Red Frog Bungalows exceeded my expectations. The staff treat you like family, the location is heavenly and the food is delicious. We surfed every day with our surf guides who always had us at the right place at the right time. Staying at the Red Frog Bungalows is the best decision you can make when traveling to Bocas. I hope to get back there asap!
