“Beautiful B&B in Bocas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

This B&B will have you swooning from the moment you set your bags down. The staff are loveable and keen to help with anything. Jack made an absolutely delicious breakfast for us, even going so far as to feed us after we slept in 'til noon! It was a perfect start to the beginning of our stay in Bocas. Be sure to try to book the ocean-facing room!

A beautiful hotel with gorgeous views and with the most friendly staff ever. I would totally recommend this hotel for your future stay in Bocas because of the amazing features it has. Jack and Lee, the hotel owners, are one of the most amazing staff Ive ever met while staying in a hotel. They will offer you breakfast, which is delicious and I have to mention the most amazing pancakes in the island, Jack's! The hotel is a bit remote (10 min walk from the center) but a taxi which costs 0.60 cents will take you there. Thank you Jack and Lee! We had a blast!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Master Suite.

The hotel is awesome, quaint, clean and unique. Jack and Lee, the hotel owners were amazing "TripAdvisors" helping plan daily activities and making some great recommendations for dinner and journeys. The home made breakfast was just what was needed every morning.

The hotel is a little remote and the taxi drop off is not right in front, but don't worry a few steps down the path takes you right into the living room.

Great Stay.

Hey - You should go here. You don't know it, but is is good for you. If I could come here every month or two i would in a hot second. It is not fancy, the rooms are utilitarian in the main house, but are totally good. Koko resort, their sister property next door with bungalows over the water is a little slice of heaven. I was there in low season so it was very quiet and relaxing, but this would be a great place for a larger group of 4-5 friends or a family as the bungalows are like little apartments in a crazy ideal setting. Have pancakes then dive into the ocean from your deck. Sound nice?

Room Tip: Stay on the bungalows next door that stand over the water .... it is like heaven. If you are in the...

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon August of 2013 and we had a great time. The owners, Lee and Jack, are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good time - we missed our ride coming back from the beach one night, and they were on the phone with the owners of a local restaurant to make sure we wouldn't lose our table! Amazing! We stayed in the master suite, which was beautiful and definitely the most impressive outdoor-shower I've ever seen. The breakfast is delicious! We also enjoyed being a bit removed from the main area of the island (a 5-minute, $1 taxi ride) because we were able to escape the somewhat spring-break vibe of the main area on the weekends and just relax. Stay here if you are on

after the $4 taxi dropped the group and i and we had to walk about 20 yards to the front door.. i didnt know what to expect because the surrounding landscape is very...rural..

but once inside and greeted by jack and lee ... i call them ma and pa kettle...the group was surprised with the atmosphere and cleanliness of the housing... they are very friendly and have knowledge to be shared... he needs to write a book.. * dont sweat the small stuff * panama style.

the only issue i had was that is if it doesnt rain...they water supply will not be available..which is not the fault of the establishment...its all over the island... no main-land water supply...they exist with just rain water ..stored in large water containers...

other that the scared lack of water... i didnt even lock my door... no problems at all... the crystal clear water on the beaches and mosty a friendly town...good food and times to be had by all... they have individual cabins also with kitchen facilities... very romantic...!!

one room has a hottub in it and its fine..as long as the water level is high !

breakfast served every morning and a nice place to stay... life is good...enjoy when and while you can.. see you there

Room Tip: the room with the balcony has noise with neighborhood kids playing outside... but its very spacious...

Upon arrival by taxi, we were slightly confused that there was no entrance where we unloaded our bags but were taken by a young boy playing ball to the "gate" to enter. We were greeted with open arms and it was all up from there. Wonderful hosts welcomed us to their HOME. Great breakfasts by Jack and super tips on the "to dos" on the island and invaluable advice. Super excursions arranged by Jack and Lee at a better cost. A must try if you want a "real experience" In Bocas del Toro.

Room Tip: All rooms have something to offer. Don't go expecting a Resort experience. Go if you enjoy inter...
