Ditto all the positive comments in the previous reviews. The rooms at Cocomo have a simple charm, the breakfast (juice, fruit, cereal, breads, great coffee and made-to-order omelettes) was delicious and the waterfront deck is a definite plus! The view from the deck at sunrise on our last day was beautiful and serene. I wish I would have gotten up early every morning to enjoy it. Meeting other travellers is one of the best things about staying in a B&B. Hanging out on the split-level deck at Cocomo with the other guests (and Doug) was a nice way to spend an overcast morning waiting for the clouds to part, enjoying beers after a day of snorkeling or hanging out in the evening after a night in town. If you do not feel like socializing, it is still a perfect place to read a book , listen to your iPod or snooze in one of the hammocks lulled by the sound of the waves lapping gently under the deck. It is close enough to everything so you can enjoy a leisurly stroll to any restaurant in town and it is only a few blocks from MondoTaitu's bar. Doug referred us to a wonderful guide who took us out for a fantastic day of snorkeling and visiting several other nearby islends. OK, the towels are not fluffy egyptian cotton and the walls are a little thin, but you will enjoy your stay here so much, these things will not really matter. If you like a relaxed, homey, laid-back island vibe then Cocomo on the Sea is definitely the place for you.
