The 4 of us (all over 60) arrived here having already spent 2 weeks travelling round Sri-Lanka doing the usual sites.Beckie and Saman and their lovely son Ami (nearly 3) were the most welcoming of hosts.
The cabanas are charming and beautifully furnished. This is the place to stay for a few days of "real" Sri-Lankan life, you can swim in the sea (200 metres away) wander through the fishing boats watching the fishermen haul in their catch, then climb the Taragala Rock and watch the birdlife in the lagoon.
Alternatively stay around your Cabana sit on the veranda and just watch the birds from the nearby Bird Sanctuary flying around.
This is a wonderful spot slightly off the beaten track (off the main road between Yala and Galle) and to be recommended to travellers of all ages!!
