My Wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to watch the test match.The room was booked by our beach boy Sunny from the Kani Lanka in Kulutara so we were a little unsure what to expect.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived,the hotel enjoys an excellent position with stunning views over Kandy.
The Room was stylish spacious if not a little basic,the Bathroom wasn't so great.
The Pool was a touch small and a few more lounger's would have been good.
Cheeky little monkeys occupy the surrounding trees and on more than one occasion we saw them dart down to help themselves down to help themselves to what ever they could grab!!
The food was the typical hotel Buffet fare,and the staff were very pleasant.My wife particularly enjoyed the spa which I was told was half the price of the one at our beach resort.

stayed here while on overnight trip to kandy,room 802, not bad view over lake and part of city but rooms on higher levels would have a better view over all of city.we were on half board basis.good selection,and nicely presented.room was ok,tablet burner supplied in rooms for mosquito repellant,bathroom quite basic.i would not recommend this hotel for a long stay but for a short stay it is worthwhile,nice pool and balcony area.beware of the monkees in the morning,they come from everywhere.

We stayed here with two small children on two separate occasions and found the place to be well worth staying in. The views over Kandy from the swimming pool and rooms are amazing and the balconies with monkeys for entertainment in the mornings kept the children entertained. The buffet fare was about average and there was a reasonable choice. The rooms were comfortable and well supplied and the staff were lovely. The little Hobbit house where the spa is located is wonderful and the massages are reasonably priced and the staff accomplished. We were booked to stay there through Rodney Tours who organised our whole trip for us and did a fantastic job of ensuring we got exactly what we needed. This hotel was their suggestion and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights whilst touring. We were allocated a brilliant top floor room with stunning fews of Kandy.
The hotel is close to the Temple of the Tooth, and also the beautiful Botanical Gardens.
Our room was large, nicely furnished and with a balcony over looking the World Hertitage site of Kandy. The bathroom was a bit tired looking and lacked a hair dryer and sufficent towels, and the shower was a bit hit and miss with regards to temperature.
Food was pefectly ok, although not outstanding. The bar is rather dark and lacks any real character. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and always greated us with a smile!
There is a nice pool but we were so busy didn't get a chance to use it, although when I dipped my toe in it was warm!
Most amusing were the monkeys who will pay you a visit on your balcony - they were very cheeky and made us laugh, although perhaps for guests with young children, maybe a bit unpredictable!! We saw a number of baby monkeys clinging from their mothers and swinging from balcony to balcony.....
All in all a pleasant stay, but not outstanding in any particular way.
