The mansion is a colonial building with a story. You can imagine the dining room to have hosted a ball 50 years ago. It probably did. Owner and Manager really friendly and food was fantastic. You can spend a day just going around the mansion up and down its wooden staircases. It is 9 km from kandy and that could be a negative for people taking the train. We had a bit of a problem with last minute pricing with the taxi the mansion recommended. But the mansion is definitely the place i would choose again next time.
