“Lunched here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

On our way from Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to Dambulla Cave, our group of 30+ people had our lunch here. We reached around 1:30-2 p.m. Their buffet lunch menu was quite decent. They had on the menu a dish made from breadfruit which we liked, but it got over soon and no refill was available. So 1-2 people in our group did not get it. Restroom facilities were also quite good which is very important for transit travellers.

“Go to the workers cafe on the same site”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2014

I was there with a group and half of them went to the restaurant (no complaints) but the rest of us went to the staff or workers cafe on the other side of the car park. There, for about $1, we had rice with 3 different vegetable dishes and a small portion or fish or chicken. No implements but a place to wash your hands before you use them for your curry. it was great!

“Unbelievably poor”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014 via mobile

We were taken to this restaurant by our driver after trip to Minneriya safari park. We were expecting a nice meal. The menu in itself was disappointing seeming to cater for tourists, but we persevered and ordered a couple of supposedly Asian dishes with noodles, they came almost immediately, always a bad sign. The chicken dish was uneatable the chicken was dry & stringy, impossible to chew & the noodles were lukewarm at best. The mixed noodle dish was obviously stir fried leftovers from lunchtime, overcooked & unpalatable. Of all the many restaurants we have eaten at the food here was by far the worst. It was an insult to Sri Lankan food, avoid at all costs.

“Mediocre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

For tourists only who wish to forget they are in Sri Lanka. Mediocre rooms and substandard food, catering to international tourists. Disappointment.

“Good restaurant, nice & quiet place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

The restaurant is located within the hotel complex and near a beautiful pool. The place is quiet, cozy and clean. We ordered minestrone soup and salad were excellent. In addition, we ordered Fish and Chips but the fish was dry and seemed heated several times. Good price.
