Lovely little place with warm personality about 20 min drive from St Louis. A limited number of nice and clean rooms/huts available (nothing fancy, but nice) and the common areas are really charming with a bar installed in a car-rapide and some space to play boule, lots of hammocks and other chill-out areas. I was there with my family and it was absolutely perfect for a break in the otherwise quite intense travelling schedule.
The campement is just on the Lagoon beach so one can easily go swimming in the lagoon or pay a fisherman some coins to take you across the lagoon to Langue de Barbarie and the "real" beach. When we did so, we also ran in to big gatherings of pelicans and other big birds that I can remember the name of.
There are also possibilities to rent quads, get a massage or other relaxing activities. On Sundays there is a big lunch buffet apparently attracting a big bunch of locals (senegaulois).
The best thing about the place is probably after all the friendly owners. They will give you any tips and support you might need to fully enjoy your time in the area!
