the place is clean and inexpensive, and my room has excellent view of mountains and town. it has some nice outdoor seating areas and a fire pit that gets used all the time. there is hot shower but wi-fi is very slow unfortunately

It is real home stay, owners family live in the same house. Very nice place, clean and comfortable room for very low price. Hot shower and WiFi available. Big living room where You can meet with other guests. I would not recommend the restaurant, because You can select tasteless meal. Staff is helpful.

We stayed here during our trip in Sagada and it really didn't dissapoint. Sagada Homestay is really a good option because of the friendly staff (Kudos to the hostess, Ms. Karen) and the excellent location. The rooms especially the ones with its private cr was both comfy and cheap. Also, they go the extra mile by making your stay truly romantic with the swan folded towels. Thank you Sagada Homestay for making our stay truly memorable!

Stayed here for 2 nights and we chose to rent the house with 2 bedrooms, own kitchen and bathroom for P350/each/night. The view is amazing specially in the mornig since Sagada Homestay is located on the upper part of the hill. Quiet, relaxing and the smell of pine trees are just perfect to end your day full Sagada adventures/activities. No need for a fan nor an A/C for the weather at that time (May) is just soo perfect.. I could say Sagada Homestay is one of the best places to stay in Sagada. Thanks to their kind caretaker who is always there to assist us with our needs. Will surely comeback to this place.

We had mixed feelings about our stay here, we loved Sagada but were really disappointed with the homestay.
The views from the balcony are beautiful but we didn't enjoy our stay overall. The room was very small, we had a private bathroom but no hot water for the shower, which wasn't an issue in most of the Philippines but it can get very cold up in the mountains and the cold shower was awful.
Our main issue was with the staff. We had bought some food as we had heard that we could use the kitchen to cook, but you are no longer able to use the kitchen to cook. We were told we could use the kitchen as we had already bought food, but when we wanted to cook we were not allowed to use the kitchen or speak to the owner about it. When we eventually spoke to the owner we were not allowed to use the kitchen but taken outside to a gas hob to cook, there was no light or gas or cooking utensils so we gave up and went out to eat, not really feeling welcome at the homestay.
Sagada is a beautiful place to visit, but I wouldn't recommend the homestay.

Stayed for 4 nights and felt like part of the family.
The wooden walls are very nice as well as firepit outside.
Be aware there is a shortcut to the street and you don't have to walk on the road which is currently under construction.

The place is decent given that you're just paying for a couple of $ per night.

What I liked about the place is that it is not right in the center of town, and that it's in front of a nice bakery. Also, I liked that the place was made of pine wood, which was really appropriate given there's a lot of pine trees in the area.

It had some hot water for the shower, but not hot enough.

Our stay there was pleasant.
