“Oasis in Nazca”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013 via mobile

This hotel offers fairly basic accommodations with comfortable beds and a pleasant atmosphere. A small pool was a lovely surprise and gave much needed relief from hot and sunny desert days. The city of NASCA is small...with most tourists coming in for one night to enable a view of the NASCA lines so the hotel did not have facilities for storing clothes in the room other than an open hanging rod...this was all we needed though for our one night there. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and allowed us to chek in early after an all night bus trip...most appreciated by us weary travellers.

The restaurant food was average but close at hand. The breakfast (included) was quite nice but nothing out of the ordinary.

After a week in Peru as very basic hotels, the Casa Andina Cassic in Nasca was exactly what the doctor ordered. Wonderful sheets, fluffy towels and a buffet breakfast. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the comfort and the room and the helpfulness of the staff who all spoke a fairly good English. We Had a Queen bed which was also an amazing treat.

The breakfasts at all of the other hotels consisted of eggs, bread, jam and butter, tea and coffee. At this hotel, there were a few choices for breads, cheeses and sliced meats, yogurt, cereal and milk, as well as coffee, tea and juice. It was a wonderful change, and it has spoiled us!

The hotel is not budget priced, but we did manage to get a really good discount with expedia, which made it affordable.

The town of Nazca is not remarkable, but the lines, visiting the Chauchilla Cemetery, & the Cahuachi ruins and the Antonini museum were worthwhile.

We met a very good guide who speaks English very well. His office is right across the street from the bus station calledVolcano Trips. His name is Juan Carlos Rojas. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We booked a last minute room on expedia. The room was twin beds in the listing, but we managed to ge...

Spacious and beautiful hotel. Especially nice are courtyard with palms, huge bed, and excellent location. Breakfast was a little limited in variety, water in showers kept changing between hot and cold all the time. Other then that it's a great hotel to stay in Nazca.

The hotel is on the main street leading from the highway to the central plaza in Nazca. The room, though basic, was large (a suite), clean, and comfortable, and there were several choices of nice general areas to sit and relax (central courtyard, around the pool, both full of palm trees). It is easy to walk to one of the several good restaurants and to the Plaza de Armas. The staff was friendly and helpful without hovering. One possible caution: the hotel seems set up to deal with large bus tours (a huge one arrived while we were there, and they took over the restaurant and buffet at breakfast).

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel may be quieter than those closer to the front, as they're shi...

Very good to excellent hotel in Nazca Peru, near shopping and markets for a good cultural experience. The staff were great in taking care of us and answering all of our questions in very good english, which is some times lacking in Peru. We looked around for restaurants, and being tired after 8 hours on a bus, and chose the Hotel's restaurant and was not disappointed, good food, Pisco Sours and service and also the breakfast was very good.
PS. Nazca was one of our favorite cities we visited, I never felt unsafe and everyone we dealt with was or seem to be happy we were visiting.

Room Tip: The farther back in the hotel may be better, but with the older window shaker AC system, noise from...

The hotel is very nice and very well located. just close to Plaza de Armas and the Ovalo, with a lot of shops and restaurants around. the room is like a suite, big, comfortable and very clean. Big and comfortable bathroom. Internet wi fi working well. The bath and air conditioning old fashion but working well. The best : people attitude; they did whatever I needed to solve my problems and make our stay very enjoyable. I strongly recomend this hotel at very good value for money
