“Prices reflect high quality for Peru, however!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

The cafe is well situated and it is possible to have a pleasant view over the town. Service was good and the cafe offers a good selection of pasties and cakes. We tried coffee and the bruschetta which were both quite poor. The coffee in particular was not at all what you would expect for the price and indeed for half the price you can find the same bitter and watery brew in most parts of the country. In the case of the bruschetta it looked great though with little flavor, for the most part all the food looks great.

“Excellent French Pastries, dismal coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

This place is easy to find over the middle bridge I think it is over the river in Aguas. We read other trip advisor reviews so thought we would grab a pastry before getting the train back down to Ollantaytambo. Well what a delish pastry, my husband got the custard and raisin scroll and we both had the chocolate and cream danish. They were so yummy, the best danish I think I have ever had!! Which is saying something..... the downside, if only they had good coffee this would rival any french bakery anywhere. Unfortunatley, it was small and on the cool side, so we were left wanting. Go for the pastries, it so worth it.

“What a treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

What a great treat while waiting for the train. This bakery had wonderful bruschetta sandwiches and the chocolate/cream croissants were so good we had to get some to take away. Yummy.

“Great food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Hard to find, but worth it. The food is delicious, but be aware! They do not accept credit card and also they do not have wifi for the customers.
