We stayed two nights at the Plaza Andina which is owned by Everclin a very helpful english speaker. Aguas Calientes as all the reviews say is not the prettiest place. The hotel is at the top of the steep Ave Pachacutec which is fine if someone else is carrying your bags! We had been taken to the wrong hotel and luckily Everclin came and sorted it out. We didn't know that one has to pay $30 per person for the bus ride up to MP and then around $40 for the entrance ticket so a second day at the site would have cost and extra $140. With better planning we would have only stayed one night at MP. So at $95 per night the hotel was expensive. Room was fine, internet readily available and all very friendly. Loo basket was not covered so an unusual use of a copy of the business week!! I think there are better options in this town.
