We went to Churrasco on prior trips to Lagos, as it was vibrant and good food. This time was a truely terrible experience. They had international credit card payment option signs everywhere - however our cards didnt work. Prior trips we didnt have a problem. We then waited for over an hour for them to sort out a bill so we could pay in cash. This include watching the manager yelling at the poor cashier - no wonder it took longer. As it is well known that expats have curfew restrictions it was really no excuse to drag out a simple process. I had to step in to help with the split of bill so we could get away on time.
On top of this the atmosphere was stagnant, and the food wasn't that great - in fact half our team (who had the seafood option) were ill over 2 days afterwards. The owners were rude to us and their staff. It was no wonder that the place was a lot more empty than what I remember from a trip 3 years ago. I certainly will not be returning.
