My husband and kids (ages 10 and 13) originally had a reservation here for one night, but decided to stay 3 because it was so relaxing! The pool was refreshing, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. It was a nice place to hang out after the bustle of Marrakech.
We had two neighboring rooms. The rooms were comfortable. The toilet is separate from the sink/shower room, which is kind-of nice.
The view from the restaurant patio of the Taourirt kasbah was stunning, and the patio itself was nice. I wasn't bowled over by the food (it was decent quality but nothing on the menu seemed particularly tantalizing), but my husband thought it was very good, and especially liked the complimentary olives. The breakfast had a pretty big variety of food to choose from.
This hotel seems nicer and more intimate than the Ibis next door (also Accor-owned/managed, though the pool at the Ibis is bigger/nicer.) I thought the Mercure was an excellent value -- less than $100/night/room. I don't think one could find as nice a hotel with patio restaurant, pool, nice view, anywhere in the US for that price. It would be double at least.
There is one (free of charge) internet computer near the lobby and pool.
One (minor) complaint about the Mercure was that the toilets seemed to fill for an extraordinarily long time and sounded like they used a tremendous amount of water. I thought this was odd considering the desert location of the hotel.
