“Good decor shame about the food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

We were the only diners and had the choice of several rooms to eat in. We later discovered some other diners arrived after us and chose the roof terrace. The upholstery is very clean, new and sumptuous. It took an hour and a quarter before we received any food. I chose the vegetarian cous cous because I was craving vegetables. I received a tagine containing bland cous cous with one potato, one courgette and some strips of pepper. A small jug of some kind of stock was brought later and this improved the cous cous very slightly. OH's chicken tagine was dry with no sauce at all.
We ordered coffee and after waiting half an hour decided not to wait any longer. We were completely abandoned due to some diners on the roof and there was no one else at all downstairs.

“Yummmmmm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Had a lovely lunch on the upper terrace. Beautiful surroundings. Started with mixed mezzes (small appetizers) that were all vegetarian! Delicious. Had a pigeon pastilla (pie) in filo dough sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon and filled with meat, ground almonds, cinnamon, tumeric and sugar. This could have been dessert. These were more than plenty for two. We left sated and quite pleased with the meal. Great service.

“Very cosy and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

This restaurant creates a cosy and comfy atmosphere. When we made a reservation they organized local music entertainment for us which was such a lovely traditional experience for us. They make the best Pastilla that I have tasted in Morocco even though it was a bit pricey at the end of the meal. A lovely atmosphere with delicious food. A definite to try when in Ouarzazate.

“Fabulous dinner in a cozy setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2012 via mobile

This restaurant is one of the few in Marocco that knows how to create a cozy setting and romantic atmosphere. No white neon lights here - candles, a lit open fire and dimmed lights instead. Interior is nice and classy. Food is simply delicious and service was excellent ! Tip : if you like red wine, go for the domaine nu sahari. It is the cheapest on,the list, but very tasty and fullbodied... This place is not cheap, but definitely worth it (we paid approx 800 dh for a full a la carte menu incl wine).

“excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012

We had Morrocan meal few times during our holiday. Our dinner in le Jardins des Aromes war by far the best. We've paid around 20€ per person (4 adult, 4 kids) including one bottle of wine.
