great place to get away for a day, plus the horse carriage ride is a lifetime memory. Great food places and certainly leaving morocco for a while as thats where all the tourists go. 80)

“quite a nice beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This place is about 3km from Assilah. The beach is clean, the water is heavenly and cool, and there are lots of places to grab a juice or snack along the shore. The backdrop is quite stunning with large hills around the beach. Tons of places to sit with umbrellas, and a short walk down the beach takes you to a mound of clay that is supposedly good to rub on your skin.

All in all, definitely worth going to when you're in Assilah.

“lovely...”

it is a great beach, nice for children as well, because the waves are not that "bad"...enjoy your stay and have a "morrocan whiskey" at one of the places at the main beach

“A short grand taxi ride from Asilah”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Great selection of chiringuitos (beach restaurants) and umbrellas for rent. Wide beach clear water Sheltered to a great extent from often brutal Atlantic winds. Camel rides available though thankfully not endemic. Relatively clean by Moroccan standards. No way to get in or out quickly but definitely better than the town beach.

“Difficult to get to”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

The beach is long and clean and the water is clear. I went first week in June so there was only one beach restaurant and quite quiet. We got a taxi so far as the road is really bad and then had to walk 40 mins to the beach which was too long. We then hitched a lift back to Asilah in a 4x4 . You can get a horse and cart there and back which I didn't fancy doing.
