Well since the whole island dont have anything 5 stars, this challet offers a great views of the ocean.
But dont even expect even 3 stars hotels service. No room service, no maids to clean your room, you have to take 3 mins walk to the reception to change 1 for 1 towel.

But for the price u'll get an awesome view, decent bed, air cond, hot water, refrigerator, TV, and no bed bugs!! He highlight is the deck. Its just awesome!!
And its quite spacious too.

Well im a bit worried about the structure cause its like... Well you gotta see it for your self.

Its locally own n operate like most ofthe challet here, so be patient.

And wifi only available in dining or reception area.

Room Tip: Bring your own blanket, ac is suoer cold, n blanket is super thin.

Obviously a very busy period so not a lot of options. We took the last seaview room at CozyHut. Buildings are very close together and ona hill, we were about 4 rows back so view was over other buildings. The worst part for us was that there were no buildling to the left of us so our look out was over staff quarters, clothes lines and a rubbish dump. The generator was also directly in line with us and doors were open so it was very very noisy. Basically sitting on the deck was pretty unpleasant.
Took many walks and wished we had stayed on the more secluded Teluk Dalam, beaches were better and it was less crowded.

Good restaurant attached which made up for a lot.

We stayed for 4 nights at Cozy Chalet Seaview 1, 2 and 3 in the high season of July. All rooms were booked prior through email. 250 RM per room per night (sleeps 2).

Check-in was easy, and the rooms were new and clean, with good views of Kecil. The beds were comfy with good aircon. Highly recommended for couples and families.

The Cozy restaurant, however, was of typical Perhentian quality. Slow, unorganized service. Food that was ordered at the same times came out 20 minutes apart, and was very bland, and was sometimes not what you ordered. The juices were good though. My brother got sick from the burger.

The beach is okay, but the concrete is a bit unsightly. A very nice beach can be found just next at Tuna Bay or Abdul's.

As all other accomodations with a/c at this pricepoint were full up I booked a stay at the cozy chalet for three nights despite the so-so reviews. I'm glad I took a chance. If you want to stay in a plush luxery five star resort then look elsewhere and pay five star prices. Cozy chalet garden suite at 200 rm was similar to accomodations on the mainland I would pay 100 rm for. Yes it's double the price - but it's high season on a tropical paradise - therefore the price fits. (I just wish it was half as much so I could stay twice as long).

The rooms were basic but included all necessities - two
comfy beds, mini fridge, balcony with chairs, a/c, and
bathroom. The room was not cleaned everyday but didn't really matter to us - I'm sure if we stayed longer we could have simply asked (the staff was very nice). Bathrooms are typical SE Asia style - no separation between shower/toilet - again this is fairly common.

The included breakfast was simple - choice of toast with jam, or egg, egg/beans, or noodles. A bit on the small side (my hubby was hungry for more). Lunch and dinner a la carte was good - nothing fancy but well prepared.

The beach at the hotel does have some concrete breakwaters but if that offends your island experience simply walk two minutes down the next beach at Tuna Bay (great snorkelling there) or keep going to Abduls, or go even further to the last lagoon that has nothing but beach there (10-15 walk over two sets of stairs).

Seriously - in a place this beautiful you'd have to work to find things to complain about. Just relax and enjoy.

We booked our 3D2N full board & snorkling package thru a local travel agency Anjung Holiday@RM550 per person and choosed to stay in suite seaview (room#S6)of Cozy Chalet since Adbul chalet was out of seaview rooms and Tunabay was too expensive. Our room is locate at the first row so u can enjoy a very nice seaview all day long.
I must say the room and the toilet are basic but clean, toilet paper is bad quality and they only provide a very thin quilt for you,it must not thick enough to protect u from cold...most of the times there are small insects on it...During the whole stay,we use our own tissue and use the big towels they provided for bathing as blanket when we sleep(we bring our own towels for bathing).2-3 times short-circuit happened per day if you non-stop use the air conditioner and hot water like us but luckily all electric eqiupments resume to normal after 2 seconds every single time!!
Other than above problems,I think Cozy chalet is value for money and staff in cozy are very nice and helpful.Foods are also tatse great (even we are full board package they provided great food for us!!),fruit shake/icecream are highly recommended by us.Snorkling trip was excellent and fun near perhentian island. We saw many big fishes, baby sharks, corals and even big sea turtle!!Big lizzard, flying squirrels and squirrels could be found near our room.
Warm reminder for ppl who want to visit cozy chalet:1)MUST BRING REPELLENT 2)BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER/TISSUE 3)BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS 3)MUST USE BACK PACK (NO rolling luggage or u will be regretted cos u have to climb up steps...) 4)BE TOLERANT AND HAPPY:)
We enjoyed our stay in Cozy chalet and it deserved a better ranking!!

Room Tip: Room#S1-S6 at first row have FULL seaview

We stayed in cozy chalet (seaview). The chalet is dark and has nothing to do with cozy. Bathroom smelled horrible.
The beach consists for 90% out of concrete and sandbags and the beach beds are not comfortable. The first two days they have been busy with a circle saw next to the beach to cut wood for chairs, and the following two with a hamer and nails. This was done in the old restaurant/ bar which we had to pass towards our 'chalet'.
The included breakfast was crap; 3 slices of toast with a cup of butter/jam/honey. The toilet in the restaurant is by far the most horrible we've ever seen.

All together; extremely overpriced and a pity to get stuck in a place like this while you're in such a beautifal region. Try to go to Tuna Bay (don't expect the world, just a nice place on a beautiful island), or else we recommend Kapas Turtle Valley on Kapas; we loved it.

Cozy Chalets is also joined with New Cocohut Chalets (same owners). Cozy Chalets is elevated slightly up from the beach (about 20m) with a great outlook from the Sea View chalets. New Cocohut Chalets are located on the beach and the Sea View chalets and semi-suits are a sleepy 5 steps away from the water.

My partner and I stayed in a sea front room at Cozy Chalets which are new, very clean and spacious. You have your own bathroom in each hut with hot water and there is no smell in the bathrooms (a bonus on these islands). Beds are very comfortable and we had an absolutely stunning view from our balcony. 24 hour electricity here.

My mum stayed in the Sea Front Chalet on the beach at New Cocohut Chalets and whilst it was quite a bit older (visibly), the beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well and bathroom adequate (hot water a little temperamental), it was right on the beach and only 20 steps from the fabulous restaurant. Great spot but rooms a little old.

Staff at this resort where the friendliest bunch we came across for our whole time in Malaysia. They were always making sure we were relaxed and feeling like we were in the most beautiful place on earth. Food at the restaurant never disappointed, whether we ordered of the menu or helped ourselves to the nightly BBQ. Fruit shakes here are a must!

We booked with an agent for this resort and got it much cheaper than the resort advertises on their website. We were happy with what we paid at the discounted rate but I would question it if we'd paid the advertised rate. We suggest negotiating the rate with the Chalets prior to going or go through an agent. We also paid only 50% deposit and requested rooms away from any generators. Our rooms reflected us withholding 50%. Very well located. Advise doing the same.

Room Tip: Stay away from generators and building work.
