“Ok lah”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Fast Checked in at 6:30pm. Old hotel, large room, booked near the beach front ground floor room. The sunset view was nice. The bed was very comfortable, air condition worked fine. TV got a few channels only with uninteresting local programs. Minibars was empty. Complimentary coffee making facility and two small cups of complimentary plain water in the room. Toilet not working very well, had to pull the handle a few times then water start flushing. The corridor was wet all the time and not clean
Next morning, breakfast food was so so, not many choices. Lot s of flies in the restaurant. My right hand for eating while my left hand chasing the flies away, very uncomfortable moment.
Overall was ok, only that the room was not worth the expensive rate that they are charging.

To be perfectly honest, this was not our first choice for accommodation. Due to the last minute nature of our visit, we had to make do with whatever hotels had vacancies for the weekend. Our usual hotels were fully booked.
We looked at many reviews for this hotel and figured for a 3 star hotel, it looked pretty decent. We checked in a little past 3pm. The hotel parking lot was vacant but since it was a Friday, we didn't think much of it. The staff at the reception were all right. They weren't extremely welcoming.
Based on the photos and the reviews we had seen, we truly thought it'd be an okay place to stay at. Unfortunately, we were wrong. The hotel was empty. The hallway leading to our room was creepy looking. Our room was musty and really unpleasant.
After about 30 minutes in the room, we decided this wouldn't do and we took a drive down and checked out the different hotels along the strip. Thankfully, a neighbouring hotel had a last minute cancellation. We checked out of one and went straight to the other hotel.
I would not recommend this place. For the same price, you could probably get a lot better elsewhere.

I booked this hotel because the hotel of first choice was fully booked and this hotel was very close by,it looked OK and had reasonable reviews. The first mistake was that the booking site failed to point out that this hotel is HALAL ergo no non Halal food no problem with this but also means no alcohol.
The Hotel is about 20 years old and the main public areas had been refurbished in the recent past however the rooms etc. are in need of a major refit, the food and service were very good position on the beach

Room Tip: Unless you are a dedicated follower of Islam I would not recommend this hotel

This is the most awful 3-star hotel I've ever been to. The hallways to the rooms are FILTHY with massive amount of dust and rubbish, the room had an awful dank smell like old socks, when the air con turned on there was an even worse urine like smell, and the bathroom was dirty, the toilet and bath are like from the mid-80s, and the shower tap came off to reveal mottled hair and gook, uuuugh. The bed was creaky and uncomfortable, the pool had no towels (unbelievable), the Ping pong room was beyond disgusting with moldy bits of food on the floor, the gym looked so dingy, breakfast was pathetic like 5 dishes n all nasi lemak mee goreng, ppl were jumping in fully clothed in the pool, COCKROACHES everywhere including the bathroom. We were so grossed out, we reduced our 3 night stay to 1. What a waste of oerfectly nice beachfront space. No one ever go there, would you pay RM325 for a basic room to share a bathroom with a cockroach in a filthy disgusting hotel?

Room Tip: Don't. Find another hotel.

I have stayed in many hotels & resorts in Port Dickson and this has to be ranked the worst value for money. For the price we payed, the place looks like it hasn't been renovated or refurbished since the 80s. The concept of the entire resort is just too dated and not the least appealing. The pool wreaks of chlorine stench, the lobby is dated & our room was absolutely filthy! I spent my night wondering how I was duped into pending good dollars for this.

Cost: Average

Pros: Flexible walk in and book, food choice is ok, must try their mutton curry, swimming pool is clean, near to PD beach, can catch lala near the beach.

Cons : My room is at 346, but the cockroaches is at my room! There is small and big one. I did talk to the room services, but they quiet, I should be change room but lazy to make it as only stay 1 nite. The furniture is old and cleanliness is normal, no so clean, I will rate 2/5.

Room Tip: Try to use the room located to right wing which face to sea. Ask front desk to give you sea view, if...

Port Dickson public beaches are not so clean, however the beach area near this hotel is clean. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. F&B is average. Easy access to nearby food outlets. Overall OK.
