Its a hotel for the marina. The view is nice from the lobby or if you upgrade to a seaview room. The swimming pool is small but sufficient for the kids to have fun. You can watch the sunset at the poolside which is right next to the piers.
The room is spacious and reasonably clean as you would expect with the kind of money you pay - certainly not spotless. We had a double bed, which is pretty comfortable. There's a sofa which may double up as a bed for a kid. I think every room has a balcony, but I could be wrong. Seems like there's a kitchen cabinet, however there are no cooking utensils.
There's a nice beach next to the hotel. Please respect the warning sign for sand flies. If you have a sensitive skin, I recommend repellents before going down the beach.
We had buffet dinner during the Muslim Ramandan (fasting) month. The food was understandably predominantly Malay and for breaking of fast. Not exactly for those who cannot take hot and (chilli) spicy food. Watch out for the barbeque wings as it might not be fully cooked! However the live entertainment made up for it.
Thankfully breakfast was acceptable. We tried to take advantage of the marina view outside while having breakfast. It worked until the crows started to steal breakfast from the kids. Then its time to move back indoors.
Generally I am satisfied with the hotel staff attitude and service.
