The Bedouin Meditation Camp is really nice in the south of the Protected Area located. The staff is friendly and the Half-board is definitely worth the 20JD.
Mornings a typical Jordanian breakfast with a very large selection of jams. Evening chicken with salad and rice. Everyone is tired.
The Bedouin-style tents are tents and at night it can sometimes become cold, but ceilings are plentiful. A youth hostel sleeping bag is useful, there is no bedding. At times even penetrating sandstorm sand into the tent. The toilets are kept clean during our visit, however, were two of four broken toilets. There is only one shower for the camp, which is very scarce. Evening entertainment is offered on request, if you join in the camp staff also makes it more fun. The tour (wheel) through the Wadi Rum 25 JD per person costs and moves in the normal range.

People who work in this rum wanders camp are very nice and friendly.
The food is wonderfull, the Zaarp, which is made under the ground is deliscious.
Camel drive during sunset was magic.
Also we liked very much the Jeepsafari of 4 hours, wow an experience which we will not easily forget.

Hello everyone
I am thanking all the workers in the camp. Since they gave me the services of reception and good authentic Bedouin hospitality
Where we arrived in the evening and Asagpelln Salman at the Visitors Center, gave us his car and 4 * 4 to the camp, and enjoyed in Wadi Rum
I advise all Alzhpin there and visit him because of the safer

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The camp was very well presented, the public areas were colourful and well kept. The tents were smart and all was done to a high standard. The staff were really friendly. We stayed for a single night with . In fact, as we were at the end of the season, we were the only people staying in the camp! It was very hot when we arrived - really hot - so we first relaxed in the main area for a few hours as the temperature dropped. We then enjoyed a terrific 4WD sunset tour through Wadi Rum.It's pretty basic stuff, but we didn't have any problems. . At times its dead quiet. At other times is amazingly noisy - generators, birds . I actually slept pretty well and would probably sleep even better on a second night., chasing the cats and kittens, playing with the Bedouins. You could certainly visit Wadi Rum from Aqaba in a day trip, but I felt this was a much better experience. Just remember its a simple camp, reflecting the people and community in which it is built.
It is recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes as there are long distances within Petra. Water is also needed, especially in the summer season
