Any visit to Jordan must include a tour of Wadi Rum and staying overnight at one of the Bedouin camps is an experience not to be missed.
We had a great day with Bedouin Directions. We saw a lot of sites in an action packed day but, having said that, we were always given plenty of time at each site and never felt rushed and always felt the day "went at our pace". Even a puncture to the jeep and camera batteries failing were coped with, without a problem. Lunch tasted good eaten out in the wilds.
The camp was comfortable and, after a spectacular sunset, it was really nice just sitting around the fire looking at the stars. They seem so much closer than in the UK. Dinner (and breakfast the next morning) was simple but very tasty. Every couple has an individual tent, which were very comfortable and they even had electic lights - well until the chef went to bed. Take a torch especially if you want to visit the loo in the night.
For a jeep tour, lunch dinner & breakfast and an overnight stay it was 130 JOD - great value.
