“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2010

I think this Hotel is the best hotel you can find in Yazd. (Hotel Dad has better landscape but worse rooms and room design and very old furniture)
Cafe Shop is open up to midnight. We arrived 12:15 and found nothing to eat!
I was in new part of the hotel which is fine. Room was clean but comforter was old and burned by cigarette. The restaurant has good food and service. Breakfast is not good enough in compare to hotel dad which is 4 star.
no wireless or wired internet in rooms and lobby . Only a small room and they charge you for internet ( in hotel dad is wireless and free)
The hotel is not far from the downtown and the surroundings where quiet. by the way I prefer this hotel over Hotel dad as I wrote in hotel Dad review.

I believe Safaiyeh Hotel is the best hotel you can find in Yazd , The quality of services and facilities is not comparable with the other hotels.

The actual name of the hotel is Safaiyeh and not Safaieh according to their website.

They are constructing their pool and gym and some other things to become the first Five Star hotel in Yazd.

Every thing seemed perfect but the Cafe Shop which was not that much perfect for me.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2007

I was with my parents and wife for three day in this hotel, visiting Yazd. The recent refurbishment (new part) of the hotel is fine, and the rooms are at a level of a "true" four stars spanish or french hotel -not beach, major city hotel-, and clearly above other "five star" iranian hotels where we also stayed.

The furniture an cleanliness of the hotel is also above the national standards, and the resturant has good gastronomy an service.

The only problem we had was that no international major credit cards were accepted (nevertheless, as usual in Iran) and the personnel was disturbed with our 100 US dollars notes ("This one has a little writing, this other is not new..."). I suggest strongly european and non-US dollar country travellers to carry euros preferently instead of dollars, and change into rials. We had the three currencies, but had much more less problems with euro notes that with US dollars, and now there is no penalty for the euro with respect to the dollar, as usual a few years ago in some countries.

The hotel is not far from the downtown (out of the peak hour of traffic jam which is terrible) and the surroundings where quiet. I think it had good value, in comparison with other iranian hotels.
