“Balcony breakfast, decent sized rooms, near the tourist markets”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

This hotel is on the street where one of the night markets is. It's also near the water and plenty of other tourist oriented shops and restaurants nearby. Can Tho is no really a must-see tourist destination, but there's enough stuff to keep you occupied for a day. And being a regional town, it's comfortable enough to walk around and explore.

Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the city skyline is nice. Check in and out was efficient. I stayed in a double room. Hot water worked, had a hairdryer which is not very common in VN, and room was kept clean and tidy. The design is probably 1980's but has been maintained well for it's age.

The conference room had no windows and the technology they used wasn't very new. But it did the job, because we didn't need computers or microphones for our small group.

Not a tourist destination - more a stopover on the way upriver but the hotel was certainly adequate.Close to the river boats and round the corner from the night market.Friendly,English speaking staff.

Well positioned, with a night market next door and close to the jetty for boats to the floating markets. Clean and spacious room, had thought it might be noisy as facing out on to street, but noise was minimal and we slept well. Staff were helpful but didn't try the breakfast as we were out very early.

Room Tip: Take a corner suite with balcony. Other rooms face into the internal atrium.

A local hotel with some issues. One night is OK but not more. Location was good.. Friendly staff; and they spoke English. Very close to the local/night market. Not much to say here except to advise this is a stop over not a destination.

Terrible hotel. No windows in our room and the air conditioner didn't work (after 3 visits from staff, it was working). The bathroom was not clean, the beds hard, the decor was missing (!). I'm not sure what other hotels are in this city, so there may not be many choices available, but if there are other choices, they might not be any better.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

We booked by phone and got an upgrade, then we were upgraded again on arrival! Our room was on the corner, so 180 degree views although not much to look at (!). Lovely big room with excellent bed and bathroom - even had free razor every day! Breakfast buffet very nice and only lacked baked beans - but plenty of other choices so I'd never complain! Good service from friendly, smiling staff. Conveniently located near the river and popular expat hangouts. Highly recommended for any visit to the capital of the Mekong Delta!

Room Tip: Bargain hard (but pleasantly) because they're willing to give discounts as part of their busines...

Bathroom is very nice.
Breakfast buffet was good.
Centrally located, one block from the river and 2 blocks from the night market.
