Pay 250B for motobike rental from Sukhothai. But it is worth paying, since the site in Sisatch is so wonderfull, not commercialised like Sukhothai. Not many tourist there. But becarefull of snake inside the park.

“Worth the Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Brilliant and worth the trip. I stayed in new Suhkothai and rented a scooter to get here. It was a bit of a haul, but when I arrived I was not disappointed. The condition of the ruins was amazing - so much to see and very spiritual in many senses. I feel people should take that one extra day in Suhkothai and ensure they get out here and enjoy this - it's amazing!

“A bit out of the way but worth the trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

The ruins here are more spread out than Sukhothai, which is much more concentrated and walkable. The reconstruction and restoration is not as advanced as Sukhothai so it has an older feel to it. You need some wheels to be able to cover the territory at Si Satchanalai.

“nice for exercise”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We went here to skate & check out the ruins. There are some Buddha's & some cool elephant statues, most of the ruins, are, well ruins. The roads were fairly smooth for skating, or biking. We saw a few joggers. They do have bathroom facilities available.

“Crowd free with nice ruins”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

Some nice ruins but a little pricey for non Thais, cost 5 times what a Thai pays. Many signs unreadable. Especially pricey was the small area with the bones. Good day trip from Sukhothai.
