Driving back to Khon Kaen from Chiang Mai we thought we would stay in a "resort" for the night rather than in downtown Phitsanulok. Big mistake! We wre lucky that the "resort" was only 10% occupied. Rooms were only just OK. Bed rock hard. Restaurant food terrible.Service poor. No facilities whatsoever apart from an extremely dirty swimming pool. Overgrown grounds and located next to muddy brown river. If you are driving past, don't stop!
