“Beautiful setting, swimming pool fantastic, amazing huts, roof terrace, lots of bugs!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012 via mobile

Beautiful hotel, paid 400 for a double bungalow. Set in the middle of the mountains only 10 min walk to centre of Pai or the owner will nice you a lift :) we got a bike and the back road was a bit tricky to ride but we managed! The bungalows were big with a nice bed and big enough clean bathroom. The rooms were cleaned daily and free water and fresh towels given. The pool was clean and had the most beautiful backdrop! Each room also had a roof terrace with a table and chairs, perfect for sunbathing. Wi fi was free and reliable.
The only cons were we experienced a power cut for a few hours whilst there, this didn't bother us though and is normal for Pai. The rooms also had a lot of ants which crawled onto the beds and as the resort was so grassy (which had also just been cut!) Your room floor would get covered in grass and dirt...you can't expect anything different though if yoyo want such a beautiful setting. I would definitely stay again :)

We looked around and chose a bungalow for the next night, for a month. We came back later in afternoon and we agreed on 10300baht for the month.

However, when we moved out of our previous residence and I turned up with our bags, I was told the price had gone up to 13500baht!

I started walking away and this was quickly dropped to 12000baht- I told her she was making it up as she was going along. She laughed as I only had a scooter and all the rucksacks to carry, but I was so disgusted I risked it anyway.

Room Tip: Don't believe a word they say.

This was something we expected to be super, but it was not.
The swimmingpool was not very clean, the grass was high (not nice when you know there can be snakes and you see the housekeeping walk with special boots.... ) the beds where not clean.
At the roof there was a place where you can have a seat, but the chairs where broken.
And the staff was not to be found anywhere when you had a question or would like to order something.
The only very good thing wa the view, that was realy great.
But i will not be a repeater here.

Room Tip: Take another place to sleep

We paid 350 baht a night for a fan room with hot shower through Agoda. The bungalow was spacious the bed was comfortable, the shower was very hot and powerful and each bungalow has a roof top terrace which is nice for sitting and reading with the mountains and rice fields as a back drop. There is also a swimming pool.
The location could be a problem for people who want to be central, although its only a 10 minute walk to town. Overall a nice stay but the owner could have offered to take us into town with our bags after our stay, after all he should no how hard it is walking the dirt track with heavy luggage.

We loved countryside! Awesome oasis from the bar noise of Pai. We loved our bike rides each day into town and the beauty of nature. Rooms are great value and we enjoyed the personal deck on top! Owner could not be nicer and hooked us up with a great day tour of Lod cave and Mae Hong Son. Only negative- there was an ant problem (common in Thailand) and after they took care of it our room smelled like bug spray. Small price to pay for a great find.

Loved the pool and the sunflowers! Beautiful.

I would completely disagree with the negative comment below. I arrived in Pai with my girlfriend in August and unfortunately on the way up in the mini bus she collapsed, split her head open and broke her nose. The reason i'm writing about that is because the owner of the resort could not have been more helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed, drove us to the hospital everyday and also even offered to change her dressings as she was a trained nurse!! The bungalows were 600 baht and for that you get a good sized room, nice bathroom, air con, mini fridge and hot water. Having travelled around asia for over a year you can't fault a place that provides those things for that price. The room was very clean and was cleaned anytime we asked. The setting itself is ideal as there is no noise at night apart from the frogs and they even have a small pool. The only downside is it takes about 15 minutes to walk into town and at night you will need a torch as there are no lights on the road leading up to the resort, although the owner will drop you into town AND pick you up. I read a lot of reviews on trip advisor with very negative misplaced comments and i can only guess that the people who aren't satisfied with this type of accomodation are expecting 5 star luxury. If people want that then i'm afraid you should look for somewhere charging 4000 baht a night, not 600!!

Picture a beautiful place with easy access to Pai - that connects you with all that nature has to offer. The huts are beautiful - with a roof top deck to watch the sun rise and set. The beds are comfortable...the rooms are spacious and best of all we were treated like special friends.

Aew is the new owner of this spot - and she is something special - friendly, funny and welcoming. There is a truck that will take you into town and bring you home if you don't want to walk into town. The food was terrific - and they really worked with our eating preferences.

The pool is clean and well maintained. You feel like you are way out in the country - with nature's sounds lulling you to sleep at night.
I love this place!! what a treasure - so happy we found it!!

You can even cook your own meals here I am sure - just ask.
