“Nice place to Stay.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

White Inn Nongkhai really modern with biger rooms. The owner was very nice .. White Inn is clean..new and modern. The Hotel is conveniently not far away from Mekong River and Thasadej Market. Many many restaurants arround there. Less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I'll be back again next week.

I stayed here for 6 nights in late January 2013. I thought it was a solid choice for Nong Khai. Well priced, modern & clean rooms, although, for my standards the details in the bathroom (corners, mirror etc) could have been a wee bit cleaner. Good location (walking distance to everything) and generally quiet. However, they do often host groups and they can get a little noisy at times but nothing really to complain about.

All in all, I would recommend the White Inn and would stay again.

This hotel is modern with large rooms that have all you need for a short stay. What makes this hotel special are the fantastic staff who will help you with anything. They go above and beyond what is expected and will help you sort any problems you may have. They offer local advice, arrange transport and will pre book your future accomodation. Both young girls speak great English and the whole family are totally delightful.
We did not have breakfast but that is available close by. There are great food stalls just a few hundred meters away and a Tesco lotus is a short tuk tuk ride away. We happily spent 4 days here and would recommend to anyone who wants a clean, good value hotel. There direct rate is 600-800 baht.

We stayed in White Inn, Nongkhai for 2 days. The hotel is basic air conditioned with attached bathroom but exiremely neat and tidy with floors tiled.Basically it appears to be a new hotel. The breakfast is also basic but noting that a room for two cost us only less than USD 3o, it is certainly worth the money. The staff basically are ladies who are extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful.Just a two minute walk towards town you come across a Thai massage centre.we tried Traditional Thai Massage for 200 Bahts. The one hour massage was truly professionally done by the young girls. There is no hanky panky here.A further 3-4 minute walk and you reach the town where you have an array of restaurents. We took a tut-tut and went to a restaurent beside the Mekong River. The food was truly great though I forgot its name. The hotel therefore is close to the town.To get to the market you may require a longer walk or you can take the tut-tut.Hence White Inn is a very comfortable hotel with its close proximity to Nongkhai town centre. However to visit the famous Buddhist temples you need to hire a tut-tut or a car.we would strongly recommend this hotel to all intending visitors to Nongkhai.Dont worry the hotel can arrange all transport for you but we would strongly recommend Yout an English-speaking humble tut-tut driver Tel: 088-0554855 or you can email him in advance tuktuk_nk873@hotmail.co.th based on the visiting card he gave us.He is certainly trustworthy.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally good

Stayed in 3 rooms for just 1 night while traveling from Vientiane to Udon Thani. Clean, new, modern hotel with friendly and helpful owner. Hotel is conveniently located just 400 meters away from Mekong River and Thasadej Market. Many restaurants and street foods on Prajak Road which are also less than 10 minutes walk from White Inn.

Room Tip: Sala Kaew Ku is worth a visit if you are in Nong Khai.

Modern and spacious rooms. Comes with a very friendly owner and friendly girls on reception. Rooms very clean. Rain water shower in bathroom. Very firm bed but you can request a softer mattress. Overall this hotel represents good vaule for money, at guesthouse prices. Cannot comment about breakfast because not part of our deal.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

Stayed here for 2 nights (Oct 2012) and must say I was impressed, the staff are extremely helpful called a tuk tuk for me on 2 occasions & wrote my list of sight seeing attractions in Thai for my driver. My room was the same as the pictures uploaded by another reviewer, TV on the wall small bar fridge etc etc.
There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room, so take your own. Bed was a little hard but for 2 nights ok.
The breakfast was Thai orientated so don't expect a big european breakfast of eggs/bacon/toast/juice/cereals etc , again there was no teabags/leaves available for breakfast just Milo, water & coffee.
Yes I will be staying there again despite the minor shortfalls!
