We arrived in Koh Tao in the pouring rain and were very happy to have our transfer to The Rocks already pre-arranged. When we arrived at the Villas, Janine greeted us with ponchos and complimentary beers! A very warm welcome :) She checked us in as we enjoyed our beverages and made so many amazing suggestions about the island, including where to eat and drink at Sairee beach. Janine was also amazing at organizing our transfer to Koh Pangan via the ferry.

We were very happy the next morning when we didn't have to move for breakfast and could have a delicious meal delivered to our balcony overlooking Sairee Beach. It's not often you get that kind of service at a Villa. The couples villa was perfect for two people and the balcony with hammock had the most incredible view.

The Villa is about a 10 minute walk down a rough road to the beach and town, but very manageable. To do more exploring a car or motorbike is recommended, but we were only there for 2 days and didn't mind the stroll. The best part of the uphill walk home was being able to jump in the infinity pool that overlooks jungle and Sairee Beach. Again, spectacular views!

We would love to return to Koh Tao for more time, and The Rocks would definitely be our number one choice. Thank you, Janine for everything!

The Rocks Villas have a special charm about them and are absolutely breath taking. We fell in love with Koh Tao and the Rocks as soon as we got there.
The villas are situated a little bit up the hill in the middle of the jungle which ensures total privacy and a beautiful view but it is still only a short walking distance to the beach or town.
You can really tell the villas are the owners "baby" as service is outstanding and they help you with any problems or queries on a very personal level. Breakfast is served at any time of the day and they make sure to clean the villa or surrounds whenever the guests are out and about. The villas are comfortable inside and outside, decorated beautifully.
My husband and I got married on the beach in Koh Tao and spend our honeymoon at the villas on a friends recommendation. We had the Best time there and are very glad we stayed at the villas. We would recommend The Rocks Villas to anyone that is looking to have a quiet, romantic, beautiful and personal holiday and is not looking for constant, annoying "entertainment" like you get at loud club hotels.

So many have written about the hospitality of Janine and Reuben and every word is true. Greeted as though we'd known each other for years and nothing thereafter was too much trouble. Janine and Reuben - you are the perfect hosts!!

The road to the villas is steep but walkable if you are of a reasonable level of fitness. As we had a swag of underwater camera gear with us, Janine was wonderful and organised a friends Jeep for us to hire whilst we were there for the 10 days. Thanks again Chloe and again apologies to the dogs for 10 days of no beach walks! The car proved invaluable as our chosen dive centre was up in Mae Head (a couple of kilometres away). It also gave us the ability to explore the island a little more that we would have done otherwise.

The villas are located in a wonderfully peaceful part of Koh Tao but close enough to Sairee Beach for walkable access to food and shops. Akar ensured our villa was cleaned to perfection every day and the pool was always a leaf free haven and a sheer pleasure to lounge in at the end of a days diving. Thank you Akar!! The villas are also a nature photographers delight with flora and fauna in abundance and incredibly cooperative subjects that will stay put for that perfect photo!!

We would highly recommend The Rocks Luxury Villas to anyone looking for a little slice of Koh Tao luxury.

We hope to come back to Koh Tao sometime in the not too distant future and would not hesitate booking in at The Rocks Luxury Villas again.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Ko Tao, I can't say enough good things about it. The villas are beautiful, modern but still in keeping with Thai style and immaculate - even better than they look on the website, we were delighted we had chosen to stay there. Our villa was cleaned for a couple of hours EVERY day - that kind of service you would not get in a top hotel!

The villas are a short walk to the beach/ restaurants and bars (prob less than a 10 minute walk) but feels very private. It was a lovely, relaxing, beautiful place to stay with excellent service, wonderful accomodation and amazing views.

Janine was the most helpful person we've ever met, she recommended loads of amazing restaurants - in fact I think we only ever ate at her recommendations as they were spot on. She arranged our taxis, an amazing boat trip on the Naga, our travel from the island and even inquired about onward flights for us.

We have been to Ko Tao before and will definatley go back and when we do we will be staying at The Rocks!
