“A quiet location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Laem Tong Bay is a tranquil location with access to a number of resorts. From this location you can quickly access Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island and snorkel or swim in crystal clear waters.

“Nice beach and beach front restaurants.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

Private beach for 4 resort customers only. Beautiful white sand. A great place to watch the sun rise in the morning. A relaxing place to find a few beach chairs to rest during the day. A romantic place to find the beach side dining with candle lights in the evening. Try some Thai massage too.

“beautiful beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

This is great spot to stay for some escapeism. Very different from Tonsai bay( no throngs of back packers...). Just enough variety of restraurants along the beach to give a bit of variety. Great snorkelling at the far end of the beach (near the holiday inn). Sea gypsies are friendly and will take you to tonais, mayz bat, bamboo island etc at a much cheaper cost than the hotels

“best for couples or those seeking quiet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

While Ton Sai Bay is for backpackers and party going people, Laem Tong is for couples and those just simply wanting to relax. There isn't a whole lot to do but lay on the beach. There are a couple of restaurants outside of the resorts and one tiny store in the sea gypsy village. One note- there is a lot of crushed seashells and coral so it is rough to walk into the water. The sand is not as fine as it was in Phuket.
