“Lovely stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon, the service is great, staff are nice and helpful, the villas are sweet and really just everything you need, the restaurant was wonderful, just perfect.
it seems as though they thought of little treats for you, from dvds for you to take as you please to anti mosquitos spray:)

the only con is that it does not have a beautiful beach, it has a great infinity pool but the beach next to the hotel is so so, other than that it is perfect.

We will come back!

Yes can not keep away from here, the peace and quite this place has is just amazing, from the pick up at the pier, the relaxed approach from the staff, nothing is too much trouble, not having to pay for anything until you leave (if only other places would do this) it all adds to the relaxing time you will experience here.

We stayed here a few nights at end of August with 2 young children (4.5 and 1.5).
Great beach, amazing sunsets, superb breakfast, free fruits (nice treat), beautiful pool including for the little ones, friendly and helpful staff and beautiful restaurant in the evening.
If you are staying in the serene Haad Chao Pao and you have small kids this is the place for you. You might find other families with kids too so kids will have some company :-) Just need to mind some cracks in the wooden deck floor (some rennovation is welcome, as well as in the rooms).
I think that rate during high season is a bit high, but still affordable. Apparently season changed back to low on September 1st.
For dinner check out the restaurant and don't miss the ones next door as well.
Enjoy!

01- 03 oct 2013
Shared mini bus taxi from hadrin pier to resort was 100 baht each (8 people travelling west).

Accommodation - we paid 1200 (£24) per night for C7. it was decent enough, quiet, some insect noise at night, but not a problem at all, & there were three power cuts during storms, but only at night.
Infinity pool - perfect.
Bar/restaurant was good, and all the staff were very polite.
Breakfast - nice, & included in price.
Beach - picturesque, great sunsets, a few rocks, cleaned every morning, & you can view the locals walking with fishing nets/hooks during the morning.
Sea - shallow waters, very clean, 3-5m visibility, but much better as you get to the boulders (50m out), with decent marine life for snorkelling.
Bed - squeaky, good job there were no neighbours, ahem!
Shower - good, plenty of hot water,
Room cleaned every 2 days.
Mosquitos appeared after a storm, and butchered us between 1730-1830...

We would definitely go there again.

Room Tip: In the off season it was empty. Try for an upgrade...

Very nice resort with friendly stuff.
PROS:
+ nice pool
+ clean rooms
+ friendly staff
+ free transport from and to boat mall
+ good massage close to resort ( left side - on the beach , right side - massage shop )
+ breakfast option

CONS:
- must have a motorbike or car. On the walk from and to the town and the restaurant is a little far
- Ever need a little renovation

We have been here twice already satisfied

Room Tip: Standard room is ok

This resort is located on a very quiet and lovely part of the island. It's a great place to unwind. Situated right on a clean beach with a great pool right on the beach. We stayed for 4 nights in a sea view cottage which looked out over the pool and the ocean. Friendly staff. The room itself was very basic. Nice outdoor shower. Nice verandah to stare out over the ocean. No tea/coffee making facilities and no daily free bottled water. The food by Thai standards at the restaurant was terrible (we have been to Thailand at least 20 times). But on saying that there is plenty of good restaurants along the beach and along the road. Highly recommend La Dolce Vita restaurant at the Blue Ocean Garden Resort along the beach. There is also places to rent motorbikes, massages and 7 elevens very nearby.

Room Tip: Sea View rooms have a great view

The location is perfect, with beautiful sunsets and a few restaurants and shops around. The staff are very kind and helpful, we loved them. The rooms are nice, quiete and clean. The swimming pool is just in front of the sea with a breathtaking view. The facilities are very good and the place was green and well kept. They also arranged to pick us up at the pier and bring us back at 6.30 a.m. We really enjoyed spending 6 days in this wonderful place! I warmly recommend it!
