“A must. An absolute must.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

After reading reviews here, myself and my 3 friends visited Beach lounge. It's not that easy to find, which is actually a positive thing, so peaceful and serene.
When we arrived, we were informed that it was booked out. We were disappointed, but the manager came out as we were about to leave and offered us a table with seats on the floor. We jumped at the chance. He then came out with a blackboard and explained the menu to us. He was meticulous in his explanations and he is clearly passionate about food and the restaurant.
We chose fish, curries, mango chicken and other dishes. We also had virgin cocktails as it was Buddha day. The food and the cocktails did not disappoint.

However, another contributing factor to the success of this place are the staff. The Thai women that served us were professional and attentive, and made us feel so welcome. We liked it so much we booked it for a second night and again, it did not disappoint.
Perhaps if you are thinking of visiting, book in advance and get your hotel to ring for directions.

“Bliss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

Amazing restaurant.
Friendly l, attentive staff and owners.
The owner makes it his business to go through the menu with you and help you to decide what to have.
The food was mouth watering. I had a thai chicken dish served in a coconut and for dessert I had a traditional thai dessert. The chef (also the owner) came over to make sure we were happy with the spiceness of our food. It was beautiful. We then had coctails looking out onto the sea. It was a lovely evening.

“One of the best restaurant in Koh Phangan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Very fresh food, the austrian owners was extremely polite and patience with us.
Make sure you book in advance but if you have not you can have a try.
Magic atmosphere and I would say....romantic place.
I have read some bad reviews complaining because the Thai staff did nto speak a good English...really? is that a reason to complain? Why are you travelling if you do not want to get contact with local people? Does everybody need to speak English?
It is not the cheapest place in the Island but the food is really really good!

“Beautiful setting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

The setting is just gorgeous .The menu is interesting and wait staff atttentive. The owner was very good at explaining each dish .Food was beautifully presented but lacking in flavours .There were two desserts. The Thai sago pudding was very good .The panna cota had good flavour but was served in a bowl because it hadn't set -why would you serve an unset dish?? Unfortunately this restaurant didn't live up to the rave we expected although the food was quite good just lacking in Thai flavours.

The menu was diverse, including some nice vegetarian dishes. The owner was extremely lovely and managed to squeeze us in even thought we didn't book. The food was beautifully presented and the overall dining experience was fabulous
