This is simply a great place to stay on Koh Phanang. Family run by Frank (Dutch) and his wife. We were made to feel very welcome and everything aas catered for. Frank and his family are lovely people. Nice pool and beach area which wouldn't look out of place in any top resort! Food is great and you can even enjoy wine and Belgian beers! All this is offered at very reasonable prices. Don't hesitate book this place.

Just have to add a comment about one of the previous reviewers who gave very negative feedback. We found the owner (Frank) couldn't have been a nicer person. So welcoming, friendly and would do anything to help on request. I find it a bit silly that this person was able to leave a review without even staying at the place also!

We stayed here for the full moon party on November the 28th. We were supposed to stay 4 nights and stayed 5!
We just loved it here. We dont normally fo for the bungalow style hotel but we felt really safe in Cyana, the rooms were clean with TV, fridge (complimentry water) safe, cupboard and towels. As the weather in Phangan was terrible we decided one day we would stay in and watch DVDs so we asked the owners (wish we had picked up their names) and then switched rooms so we could have a dvd player with the tv. fit it for us then told us where to get DVDs! They never made us feel uncomfortable with all the questions we asked and the food was so delicious!

It is a bit out of the way but we would rather that on the full moon party week anyway. it cost 100b each for a taxi to Thong Sala the nearest town.

We really recommend this hotel. so worth the money! The owners are so wonderful too.

As we did not stay here due to the reaction from the host, hence do not count this review towards the stay, but rather towards the attitude we got from the host.

We called the Hotel and probably spoke to The owner we initially discussed around the cheapest price available and the availability of the hotel. On bases of the discussion we tried to negotiate a good price as we were staying for multiple nights.

In the end we committed that we will stay at least for one night but keep extending our stay on a rolling basis.

At that the host got really upset and was really rude and unpleasant and in fact hung up on us suggesting we could look for other places.

Appreciate he may not have liked the idea however the same message could be conveyed in a better way...I'm glad we didn't stay here because putting up with such a host would be terrible anyway..

Lovely, secluded location - not too far from town. Nice pool, big rooms, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, GREAT FOOD, staff are very nice... in a very quite little fishing bay - so not on a busy public beach. Kayaks but not paddles (yet)... two resident dogs that are sweet - very busy sleeping most of the time though.
