Very neat, clean and well run resort by a friendly and helpful "farang' couple. The food very good at the restaurant.A brand new pool just finished and really necessary as you cannot swim anywhere on Koh Phangan in the low season (may-june) except the north- east side ( Tong nai pan noi, bottle beach and Hat Tian)

Room Tip: Walking distance to Tong Sala.10 minutes. No motorbikes to rent but the owner can arrange it

Spent here 2 nights with a friend. We chose this resort based purely on the reviews on tripadvisor and did not have to regret! It was a beautiful resort. Bungalows were good size for 2 people, very clean and well looked after. They had just built a pool there which was a lovely addition to the resort. Food in the restaurant was excellent and waiting staff (especially, Jem (?) were very nice and friendly as well as the couple running the place. I did not want to leave this place after only 2 nights in there, but unfortunately had to get back to work. Would definitely stay there again, and hopefully will in the future!

I found the only thing lacking at Baan Manali a pool. The beautiful lagoon in front of Baan Manali is not suitable for swimming; it's too shallow and the water is very warm. Apart from that everything else was perfect. The grounds have many high trees, which makes it noticeably cooler than outside the hotel. The bungalows are simple but elegant and tasteful. The food at the restaurant is excellent. And the hotel is close to town (Thong Sala) yet the location is very quiet. A place to come back to.

Thanks for your feed back.
we know about the pool..it s a big investment for us,without certainty of amortization.
but we we did it .
we close the hotel last month, and in a week the pool should be operational.
you can have a look on our facebook page for the picture

so hope to see you to test it..

Such a lovely place with really nice owners. So relaxed. Great food and such lovely views. And very close to the main town where you can find a great range of restaurants and bars. Also just far enough away from the full moon party. Will be returning.

We went to Thailand to get some good weather and good food. We go for holidays every two years somwhere in Asia. We were searching for quiet place for 3 nights at Ko Phangan. This small resort is something you need for good rest. Nice bungalows, air condition, safe box, shower, simply everything you need on vacation on the beach. Small restaurant is very good, with resonable prices. Crew is friendly and helpful. Just go there and find this small paradise. You will love to see sunrise and sunset. We will go there again for sure.

Room Tip: All bungalows are near the sea, nice and quiet place.
