we found dew shore resort after leaving a dive of a place, and by chance we were just walking up the beach and we seen this gorgeous looking place with hammocks looking out to the sea and a huge swimming pool. we couldnt get in fast enough to see if there was rooms available. we were greeted with a smile from the owner and we were even shown the room be4 we decided. we got a air con room for 800b and thrust me it was a bargin, the bed was huge very confortable with a real duvet and feather pillows aswell as a tv. looking out on our balcony we could hear the waves and see the swimming pool. the pool was amazing, it even had a jacuzzi which was perfect. in the evening or even if it got too hot during the day you could chill out on the hammocks under the shade and listen to the waves.
its only about 10-15 mins away from had rin, and its easy to get a taxi because there is one driving up and down every few mins. the is night life if u turn either way out of dew shore. we rented a moped from the resort for about 200b a day and they were very thrust worthy. its a good idea becuase u get to see non touristy things ie markets, hidden beaches etc.
we went for dinner on our last night to a place called the fisherman as recommened by the resort, its only about a 10 min walk away, and oh my god the food is gorgeous and the setting is perfect, well worth a look but can be a bit over priced.
nothing bad to say about dew shore resort they were very help full and even gave us a free lift to the pier to get our boat to koh samui.
i would defo go back
perfect for couples.

We stayed at Dew Shore when it was dead...we were the only guests and managed to blag an air con bungalow.
Clearly it was the most run down bungalow onsite as it appears they are revamping the place as there was always staff pottering about with tools banging away on some of the really plush looking bungalows near the pool. They do look amazing and if we hadn't been backpacking and had the money we would have definitely upgraded.
But although our accommodation was basic and dated we still had full use of the amazing swimming pool, and being the only ones onsite it felt even better.
The staff were friendly enough although we didn't really have much contact with them as they would not open the restaurant to us for breakfast or dinner or even buying drinks as they weren't busy enough which was a bit annoying as we were paying guests... but luckily there is a really good cafe/diner on the roadside just meters from the resort entrance where every dish is either 50 or 60B which is excellent!
The other downside to Dew Shore is that the beach is a mess - the water is like a mud fat stretching out for what seems like half a mile in just knee high water, the water and tiny strip of sand is covered is dead coral and empty sea shells. It looks a complete state.. but as we had use of the pool is wasn't that bad.
Overall a good stay but it wasn't really thanks to Dew Shore Resort.
We paid 650B a night on the condition we stayed 4 nights and that was for an Air con room with hot shower.

Room Tip: Try to haggle a price for the amount of nights you stay

We stayed again for our second time at DewShores Resort and wont be our last time to this beautiful place, my family and friends stayed for 5 or 6 days in April last year. We had great weather and all our friends who had not been to Dew Shores before, just loved the whole experience of staying at a family friendly resort which is run by the most genuinely hospitable family who are just wonderful nothing it too much trouble. We will stay again this year and bring our friends also. The resort is very Clean and the traditional bungalows are very nice, better than any luxury hotels we have stayed in. The food is great don't hesitate to visit the Drew Shores Resort.

Nicely laid out rooms with a central pool and bar.
We loved the way the low tide allows you to walk 200 meters into the sea.
the food is average and a limited choice being a family run place.

Its a 15 minute drive to the Haadrin beach
