What can I say, we loved Cookies, only planned to stay a week and ended up staying 4! We were on a travellers budget but managed to get a great room - all very stylish - great air con, powerful shower, really comfy beds, large balcony all with hammocks, all have views overlooking the bay, various prices of rooms are available to suit your budget.

The restaurant was excellent - ate there every lunch and dinner! - recommend panang curry and green/red curry & tom yam soup. Service brilliant, food great quality, good portions and great prices, eating with a view over the bay, hanging chairs, comfy thai cushions, good music.

Pool table, dvd player in room and dvd library you can help yourself to, lovely swimming pool, really helpful staff.

We have travelled all around Thailand/Asia and this really is one of our favourite places, we'll definitely be going back and recommend that you try it, you won't be disappointed. This should be the number 1 place in Koh Pangnan, for the price you pay, the view, location, you can't beat it. Give Cookie the dog a stroke from us :o)

One small point - we'd recommend they put cushions on the sunbeds by the pool and pull up the rain shield as soon as it stops raining so you can continue to enjoy the view!

Stay here and get a taste of how it used to be. Great service, really nice rooms, lovely location.. what else do you need.

In June, the beach isn;t as nice as the pics seen here form February - the sea doesn;t come in far enough to swim, but that doesn;t matter so much as Cookies has a great pool.

Friendly service form staff who really make an effort. Restaurant is on a raised platform overlooking the bay. Bugalows are dotted over the hillside - so not a place to stay for people who can't walk easily up and down steps and steep hills.

One negative comment: room 1's air con just can't keep up with the heat. It made very little difference to the temperature of the room.

The rooms are lovely and really quite different. A welcome change form the identikit bungalows seen all over the place.

At the moment there is construction work next door which can ruin the paradise feel to the place - but not enough to put you off from staying.

Just got back from a 15 day holiday in Thailand. Spent 6 nights at Cookies Resort. What a great place. The owners were the most pleasant young couple, and the staff are a credit to them. The service we received was far over and above anything we have had on our numerous years of travelling abroad. The food is exellent and very good value for money. They have a system where they book everything to your room, you have no need to sign any "bills", and they charge you at the end of your stay. Rest assurred everything was absolutely correct. The onward ferry journey was booked by the resort for us and they pick you up and drop you off at the ferry. I do not hessitate in recommending this resort.

After the taxi drops you off you walk onto the beach and turn left. You walk on a beautiful beach for about 3 minutes until you reach Cookies. What a great hotel. It offers great views over Haad Salad Beach. We stayed in the Beachfront Poolside Cottage...was only 2100BT per night...and what a lovely bungalow. The room has a lovely king size bed with great views over the coast, a huge bathtroom with a rain shower. The room also comes with a TV and DVD player...no TV reception just yet...but who cares...not there to watch TV. On our huge balcony, which offered comanding views of the coast and looks over the pool, we had a very relaxing hammock...plus table and chairs.
The resturant is great...plenty of seating options...all with fantastic views. The food is great and very well priced...the service is also excellent.
If you walk for about 4 mins along the beach you come to the small village where you can buy all needs plus a selction of bars and resturants. This is a quite part og Koh Phangan and there is little to o partying...
We stayed only 2 nights, but we now wish we spent out entire 10 nights there...it is a grat value for money resort and excellent rooms, food, service and views....we loved it and all others staying there loved it...do your slef a favour...stay there...you wont be dissapointed. Oh...they will also organise the taxi and boat transfer to Koh Samui...very helpful owners.
