On first arriving to this property we got a bit of a shock as there was rubble around everywhere. After investigating a little further we discovered that it was still being cleaned up and rebuilt after the tsunami. The property is directly on a secluded part of a lovely beach at the end of the island. We took a seaview room and loved it, the rooms are simple but nice and clean. The air conditioning works well enough after it took half a day to cool the room it was fine. It is in a quiet part of the Island close to Saladan Town. The pool area is excellent and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The assistant manager took us out to the town one night and drove us around all of the sights of the Island the next day, there was a fee for this service however it was extremely cheap and he was great company. The dinning room is just a gazebo in the middle of the lawn over looking the beach, very simple but nice. Meals are simple but good. When the renovatios are completed there will be a resturant above the reception which will offer magnificent views. This property is in a quiet part of Lanta so if you are after a lot of other people around this is not for you. If you are looking for something out of the way that is quiet with lovely beach, pool, great service than this property might be for you. It is far from the most luxurious hotel I have stayed in but for the price it is a bargain.
