My boyfriend and I stayed at Ancient Realm for 10 days over Christmas last year and we absolutely loved it!

The location is great, a little rocky in the sea but it's not an issue as there are areas that are clear too. The beach was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing every night! Ancient Realm provide sun chairs and loungers too. There are fantastic restaurants and bars along the beach, and you can walk to Long Beach in about 15-20 mins if you fancy a change of scenery. There's a Thai boxing stadium over the road which is definitely worth a visit.

The owners and staff were fantastic, very friendly, polite, helpful - they genuinely seemed to want us to enjoy our stay. This place has the 'personal touch' down to a fine art and nothing is too much trouble. The staff were great helping us decide where to visit when we hired a car - which they organised for us at the drop of a hat.

The bungalow was immaculately kept, it was cleaned every day when we were out. The fridge and TV etc were great and not at all like the photo someone else has posted so I don't know what happened there! I was a little nervous about the outdoor bathroom (mostly due to my fear of bugs!) it was kept so clean and it was actually really nice taking a shower in the open air with either the sun or the stars shining down on you. The bed and bedding is great and the bungalow is air conditioned too!

Our holiday was perfect; relaxing, welcoming, friendly, beautiful - it was exactly what we were hoping for. We will definitely return one day :) There were a lot of young families staying at the resort and it was still perfect for a romantic break, there is plenty of space and bungalows are very private.

I would recommend Ancient Realm to anyone who is looking for the beach hut experience with that little bit extra! The website really shows you exactly what you will be getting. The spa is great too!

You could see a lot of heart and effort has been put into the place by the young couple. Attention to detail is everywhere, everything is taken care of, and very beautiful rooms. Gardens and resort grounds are very well maintained, with not one stone out of place. Warm, friendly atmosphere and overall a great stay! All of the staff are very friendly and will do anything for you! Definitely best laundry service since my mum!

The low season food menu didn’t have much western food though (except for burgers, sandwiches and breakfast). They explained to us that they only had two cooks working in the low season. We did catch a glimpse of their high season menu as the waitress gave the wrong menu at first, and my boyfriend and I had ordered the Mexican nachos, but were not available. Thai food was still very delicious though and very well priced! We probably wouldn’t have noticed if we hadn’t seen the other menu! When in Thailand, eat as the Thais do! Very lovely ladies in the restaurant also!

A safe, great place to relax and enjoy the much slower paced ‘Thai Time’! We also place this resort highly recommended with great prices! Thanks to Ancient Realm!

This place was an oasis! The young couple offer professional and friendly service and the spa treatments were to die for!! After travelling all over Thailand this was definatley the best spa experience of the whole trip!! The rooms are also amazing and the outside bathroom is heaven!!

I was so happy to be told about Ancient Realm.

Sukee and her staff were all so friendly and welcoming..It really made a wonderful change.What started as a four day booking went on to two weeks.It made our trip to Thailand.As it was green season, there were fabulous deals, the spa treatments were great,the accomodation was beautiful,the food was lovely.We were so happy there..Even when it rained..we whad free dvd's.We loved mr.Benson Sukees big eared Jack Russell..Didnt want to leave.
Such a great vibe.Chilled right out..and met such lovely people.

Everybody was really friendly and helpful..what more can I say.Absolutely awesome.I WILL be going back
