Golden Bay Cottages was a great budget find. We had a standard bungalow at the back of the garden (No 207) - which is in a great location since you have a nice view of the garden. (the same view in fact as the slightly larger bungalows in front who are paying about 500 baht extra).

Our room was clean with nice furnishings and the buffet breakfast included in the price was fantastic. Really good value.

We also enjoyed eating at the restaurant on site - better quality food than some of the other places along the beach.

One word of advice though - we brought a huge inflatable ring to play with in the sea - left it by our loungers for 20 mins whilst we went to the shop and returned to find it had been stolen. So keep an eye on your belongings on and around the beach!

We had a small cottage a few rows back from the beach which was lovely. Pretty simple but everything you would need, including en suite, TV, veranda (not great view though). Very friendly staff. Cafe and restaurant on the site with great food and very reasonably priced. We stayed there when we were travelling but would happily go back on holiday. Would reccommend it thoroughly!
