We stayed in this resort for 3 nights. The resort is just next to the main road so you can hear the sound of the passing vehicles during breakfast time and when at the pool. The noise cannot be heard from the room so it is ok. Choose the row further from the road and it will be quiet. The room is big, clean and nice. Since there are only 20 rooms, the pool view and standard rooms are not much of a difference. All the rooms are very close to the pool. The outdoor shower is nice when it is sunny. The only thing that i do not like is when it rains. There's not much shelter and you will have to bath under the hot water and cold rain drops. The toilet bowl get wet too which means you cant go to the toilet on rainy days. Bring an umbrella else you cant shower or use the toilet when the rain comes down. Keep the toilet door close as a grasshopper visited my room.
The staff there are excellent. They are very friendly and helpful. After the welcome drink, they will bring you to the room and the air-con is switched on in advance. Great service at breakfast too. Since it is off peak period and we do not know how to ride a motorbike, their staff drove us free of charge to whereever we wanted to go (the beach and to the town). This extra service is very much appreciated and made our stay there very enjoyable. They also recommended nice places for food. Before i booked the room, i emailed them to ask some questions on how to get there and the lady who helped me came all the way from Krabi to the resort to meet us and to make sure that everything was ok for us. At this resort, they will try their best to help you in whatever you need.
Overall, this resort is very nice except for the inconveniences of an outdoor bathroom.
Walking to the beach is possible (10mins) but you have to walk on the side of the main road and be careful. Not many tuk-tuk around. Get a motorbike will be great. You can also ride to the restaurants and around the island.
For restaurant, try viewpoint restaurant for lunch and lanta seafood for dinner.
In the resort, electricity get cut off once in a while. No electricity also means no water. During our 3 days stay there, we experience it twice, one was from 9am to 5pm and the other was from 9.30am to 10.30am. We were told that the whole island was affected and not only our resort. If this happen at night, the resort said that they have generators. In the day, then have to wait for it to resume.
Hope this review is helpful for you.
