We stayed at this resort since I won a 2-night/3-day stay at their Suite, and extended and paid for another 2-nights.

For the price, I must say that the staff are always on their toes and efficient. Though, everyday we had to call them in to sort out the jacuzzi, because everytime it was drained and cleaned, the jets won't work. You see, after draining it, they had to refill the tub, it also 'emptied' the hot water boiler, which, we had to call on the staff to sort out. In any case, it was always done efficiently. Food was good, the Filipino Band was very entertaining, the spa was excellent,... the only set back though minor, was our trip back to the airport from the resort. Though, our flight was only at 6.50 pm via Thai AirAsia, we left at 2.00 pm to give us time for any delays that we might encounter with the ferry.... little did we know that our minivan transfer, provided by the resort...forget to fill up the tank! So...about 30km short to the Krabi Int'l Airport, did the van die out...and it died out about 1 km away from the Gas Station! Our driver was nice and told to wait for 15 minutes, and true to his word we were on our way in 15 mintues! Oh well...

Gorgeous hotel- staff great and service and facilities excellent- would highly recommend

Stayed here for five nights in March 2007.

After leaving the Banyan tree in Phuket I thought the Twin Lotus would be a good place for the price.

Check in was good and then we was shown our room !

Let just say that the photo's of this resort are for basic rooms.

The website states diffrent room types and that means a very big price increase....

Deluxe rooms are £8O per night which is quite a lot of money for Ko Lanta.

When we asked if we could upgrade we was shown a better room for double the price...

£160.00 per night is far too much for this place.

Few bad points

Cleaning of rooms is done at sometimes 5pm

Dont ask for a wake up call as they dont wake you up.

We missed our boat due to the reception not doing as we asked.

Did complain to the Manager who could not explain why we was not woken up.

After a few words of advice on service standards to the front office manager he offered a massage free of charge.

Which was declined as you cant change what's already done.

We stayed here on honeymoon and would highly recommend it. Check in was excellent, staff in general superb (apart from the restaurant / bar staff who couldn’t speak enough English to know what food and drinks were on the menu – we’ve been to Thailand a few times and have never expected anyone to speak English, but then we’ve never paid THB10,000 a night for a room - I’m normally one who believes that if you stay in another country then don’t expect the locals to necessarily speak English, but this place markets itself to international guests and certainly charges international prices, so the staff should at least speak enough English to understand what’s on the menu, which they didn’t. They were very friendly though and did try), location was excellent (at the end of a huge beach with lots of bars, near enough to walk, far away enough to be quiet), food in general good, cracking swimming pool, decent gym, good rooms with great bathrooms (if you’re going for a beach villa make sure you get 201 – 204, otherwise you’re not really on the beach, the suites on the beachfront looked a bit odd, like two separate rooms and very public). All in all we left feeling totally chilled and spoilt. The reception staff and the girl who cooked eggs at breakfast in particular helped this.
