Stayed here for a few days and found it brillant. The bungalows were beautiful and the lady who ran the place was so nice and helpful. Would definately go back. Lovely setting away from the main touristy bit. Can hire mopeds to get about the island. Hope to go back sometime

Stayed for a week - could have stayed a month

Just Fantastic - good value, excellent food, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff

My Fiancée and I stayed here while traveling around South Thailand. The bungalow was isolated and well appointed, and the jungle surrounding gorgeous. We especially liked watching the sunset from our veranda. The local wildlife was entertaining as well: we watched a meter-long lizard climb a tree about 10 meters away, and had a little excitement when one decided to hide behind our armoire. The restaurant was excellent, and we were sorry we didn’t stay long enough to work our way through more of the menu. I also very much liked that there was a small scuba shop associated with the hotel. All in all, a place I plan to return to when I can.

As others have written this is not your all singing all dancing resort full of mod cons.

It is a beautiful location with its own private beach. We stayed there for a week and were very sorry to have to go home. The bungalows are a little basic, but more than adequate and quite spacious. The restaurant served amazing food - with a good mix of Thai and European dishes, and all the staff are absolutely delightful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

The one drawback as far as we were concerned is that as a young family we were dependent upon booking taxis for any journeys to restaurants etc - this was tedious and also quite expensive (in Thai terms). Worth considering hiring a car I think.

In terms of places neaby, steer clear of Otto's Bar & Restaurant - promised the earth and delivered nothing. VERY VERY disppointing especially given the excellent food and service we had experienced at the Narima and elsewhere.

We also used Narima Diving (not owned by the hotel) for our diving trips, and were very impressed by their professionalism.
