“Excellent Restaurant & Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

This was our favourite eating venue in Kantiang Bay. From the moment we entered the location and read through the quirky menu we knew that this would be a good place to eat and all the previous reviews do it justice. Just to call in to read the menu is worth a visit in itself and did put a smile on our faces with some of the comments. The food was excellent and there would appear to be enough choice to satisfy most people also there is a wide selection of drinks available. It was a nice change to order 2 courses and them both not to come together at the same time the food itself was more than adequate and this was helped by the very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has more than just food as there is the opportunity for book swaps and they also had items of clothing available which all added to the chilled laid back attitude of the place – a real pleasure to visit.

Delicious food made with care, served by warm staff, in a cozy relaxed environment. Can't really say much more...oh except, try the cupcakes!!!

“Great Coffee and Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

We visited this coffee shop several times during our two weeks in Ko Lanta. The atmosphere is very relaxed - you can have coffee sitting in either hammocks or bean bag chairs. The staff is very friendly and was happy to talk about different places to see in the area. Great for a break from the beach, or to stop in while driving by.

“Good for a change of pace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

Came here for lunch one day when everything else seemed to be closed. Actually not sure what day it was because we were far enough along on our vacation that we didn't know what day it was anymore. Got burger and a chicken sandwich. Burger was good. Patty was seasoned much differently than an American burger, but still tasty. Chicken sandwich was a bit tough and not very flavorful. Both buns were excellent and nice lettuce and tomato. Overall, was a good break from thai food.

“Love it, love it, love it!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

Stayed in the Pimalai resort which is a full on 5 star hotel around the corner for 6 nights.....spent 3 of our nights at the drunken sailor.....need I say more. Fabulous, laid back atmosphere and the girls that work there are outstanding. One of the girls speaks the best English we experienced on the whole of the island and when asked how she learnt it, her response......from watching movies and talking too much.....love it....an absolute must if you are in Kantiang Bay!
